I would drop him. You will probably never use him even if you keep him and that's assuming he wins the job.

In a 12 team 16 keeper league you should probably cut Wentz and Rivers too. If you don't have enough talent to keep better players, look around the league for the stacked teams and see who is likely to be cut, and trade for them. You should be able to get them pretty cheap if they are being cut anyways.
