Bowe or Welker?

7th round pick in 10 team PPR dynasty draft, starting 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1k, & 1tm def. 1pt PPR, 0.1pt per yd rec, 6pt per recTD.

So far i have: Rivers, S.jax, D.Williams, Colston, Crabtree, Celek.

I am either going to go with Welker or Bowe. I think that Bowe may have the Higher ceiling, but Welker undoubtedly has the higher floor.

What are the thoughts on whose got most value, now and long term?

I would go with either Jahvid Best or Dez Bryant.

If that "d. bryant" is Dez Bryant, you pick him NOW. And don't look back. Best is tempting with your RB's age, but I'd still go Dez.

To answer your question, I'd take Bowe over Welker if that's all I had to work with.

This is a minority opinion (until Skip logs on here ) but I'd take Jeremy Maclin here with this pick.

Absolutely Dez Bryant and it's not really that close...if it was only between Bowe & Welker, I would go Welker in a PPR league.

I would take dez here, with maclin #2. you might be able to grab welker next round.

But, to answer your question, I take Welker. Welker, even though he is injured right now , has caught more passes than almost everyone the past 3 seasons. He is an absolute PPR BEAST! I love Bowe too, but he was sooo inconsistent last year and he did not respond well to the new coaching staff, it remains to be seen if he will regain what he did in his first years in KC.

So, if you can afford to wait for Welker to get back to full strength, he is your pick..... after Bryant! (if it's Dez Bryant)

Good choice my friend. Keep us updated as to who's still on the board when it's your pick next round. I'm curious as to whether Welker is still there as someone stated might be the case, along with Maclin/Bowe/Best.

Welker did Make it back round, although Bowe and Best did not. It gonna be hard to pass up Welker here, but I'm worried that I might struggle at RB if I wait until next round, needing more youth (as has already been pointed out!).

Spiller is still available here, do i still pull the trigger on welker?

Tough call here because Welker is an absolute beast in PPR and your league starts 3 WRs. I think I'd take Spiller and hope that Welker's injury means he'll fall to you in the next round.

Hmm...very tough call as I like all 3 players (assuming Maclin is still available).

Seeing as Dez and Best only just went, you might be able to hold out one more round on Spiller and take a WR here. Given the uncertainty many owners have with Welker coming back, I'd probably take Maclin to be sure I got him. Its likely someone saw the report re: projection that Welker will be ready for week 1 and will take him soon, however.

Take Welker and keep an eye out for Forsett and Hardesty in the later rounds!
