Hill for Hyde+ ??

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Hill for Hyde+ ??

Postby Vectorgod » Thu Apr 02, 2015 10:15 pm

Team not in signature. Our teams have the same relative strengths position-wise. RB is the weakest position for both of us, and I don't really have much interest in his players at other positions other than RB.

My RB roster and picks:
Hill, Vereen, Oliver, DMC, Blue, Herron, Stacy, Hunter, Latavius, Sims
1.07, 2.07, 3.07, 4.03, 4.07, 5.03, 5.07

His RBs and picks:
Gore, Hyde, Bradshaw, Pierre, West, Stewart, Gillislee
1.01, 2.01, 3.01, 4.01, 5.01

He wants Jeremy Hill and has offered any one of his RBs plus a draft pick for Hill. I would love to make a play for the 1.01 pick to guarantee my choice of Gurley/Gordon, but I seriously doubt he is going to be willing to give up that pick since I am sure he is targeting those same guys as well. Would Hyde/2.01 for Hill be a reasonable move? I like Hyde and feel like having 1.07/2.01/2.07 would give me lots of options to snag a couple of the 2nd tier RBs in this class or even trade up to grab Gurley/Gordon if they fell a couple of spots.

It comes down to his you value Hyde. Some are down on him and wouldn't think about this, others like him and would do it. I think you'll see a lot of mixed responses here

I was gonna say I would need to see entire roster to make a decision. But on value alone, I'd stay put. You might strike out on Hyde here, but based on what these players are going for right now, I'd use picks elsewhere. Unless of course you're just not sold on Hyde, then go for it.

Hill is a way more proven commodity than Hyde. Stick with Hill.
