I like Mathieu's big-play ability so I might lean that way - I think they may put up similar stats, but I guess Mathieu could be a better TD threat?

I think you are at a coin flip from week to week and either could be better at any time. If I was in the situation, the guy I didn't choose would be the obvious correct choice in a month, but maybe you have better luck.

I agree with the above posters that it's a 50-50 proposition each week as to which of the two players will post better numbers. These are the same odds I get when it's time to plug in a USB and I usually get that choice wrong.

I would have to agree with you guys. However, Mathieu is going to be claimed by someone with a higher priority than myself, so the decision is moot. I also agree with any random guy I do NOT pick up, or random unproductive guy that I drop ending up being very productive.
Before week 1 I was offered Amendola, Rueben Randle (who I really wanted for a year or so down the road), and Fred Davis (who was of no interest to me) for Jordy Nelson, Quinton Patton, and Jordan Cameron. I was incredibly excited about getting Jordy so late and even more excited about the steal I figured I had gotten on Cameron. In the end I convinced myself that Nelson would end up being way too inconsistent and Cameron would be good, but not great.
We all know how that's panned out.

I grabbed McClain and happy abt it as I have 2 Dbs injured and he has been consistent and good numbers.
