Cedric Benson

Here's a question. WTF is up with Cedric Benson. I understand he had an injury last season, but prior to that he rushed for more than 1K yards three years straight. Any talk of where this guy might end up if anywhere.

I still have him rostered just in case, but the roster trim deadline is coming up in less than a month.

I wouldn't hold much hope. He didn't play well with the Packers when healthy and age has caught up to him. Even if he signs, it'll likely be as a journeyman for injury protection for the team's starter. He has no real value. Drop him.

He has been a guy who can get the hard yardage and with his injury concerns those yards are going to be really difficult to come by. A grinder with an injury tag (merited or not) is going to be in for tough sledding.

Think it will take some significant injuries at RB for several teams before he gets a shot.
