Trading Witten

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading Witten

Postby ckburton.coach » Thu Jun 13, 2013 7:58 am

Couple offers I'm thinking of making for my team 1 in sig.

Option 1 -

Give Witten, Hartline, and 1.8 for Victor Cruz and 1.17 (not sure on the value there)

Option 2 -

Give Witten, Hartline, 3.32 for Roddy White and Finley

Option 3 -

Give Witten, Hartline, 3.32 for Cruz

Are either of these viable?

Option 3 is probably good value, but do you expect to be able to get another TE? Housler is not a viable option.

As an aside, why do 1.17 and 3.32 picks exist in a 14-team league?

17 and 32 are the overall pick number.

Is it really 1.17?

No problem...sorry for the highjack. Thought you might be playing in a quirky league, and I was genuinely interested.

All that aside, I'll still take Cruz over Witten, Hartline, and pick #32 overall.

Based on my shopping of Witten in a couple leagues, I doubt you are going to get anything close to what you view his value is.

I'd gladly make any of the deals you listed though. Just feel Witten has to be a hold at this point.
