Help building 2QB/2TE (2.0PPR) strategy/board

This league is 2QB(6pt TD)2TE 2.0 PPR. How high should QB and TE be taken in the startup? Do LaPorta, McBride, or Andrews belong around the 1/2 turn? Since it’s 2QB should those be the first 2 picks? I’m picking 12th. Any help or advice for the format is welcomed as I realize I haven’t exactly asked a great question lol

Tight ends are crazy valuable in this format and likely yes they are first rounders. The thing in the startup is if you miss on the elite ones the other tight ends are going to be pushed way way way up when the league realizes they are missing out. I would try to invest in at least one of the elite tight ends and scoop the wr value later when the panic ensues.

I’d have a hard time using a 1st or 2nd round pick on a non-qb/te in this format.

Yes we have to start 2 for both. Most likely planning to go QB/TE at the turn.

I’m in a similar league - but we start 13. With a start 10 - ignore RB, focus on hoarding TEs (valuable in the third flex spot and GOLD for trading), and you’ll need to have 1 stud QB. So I would definitely go for QB / TE with first 2 picks, and grab them over WR / RB unless it’s value you can’t pass up. But it’s easier to trade for RBs/WRs.

Few sites accurately rank TEs for TE premium +++ leagues. I avoid KTC for rankings in general, but can be helpful for clarifying rankings in this format since you can adjust TE value.

With both the positional premium and scoring premium my first 5 picks are likely 2qbs, 2 tes, and 1 QB/TE. I'm completely punting RB. Of my first 10 picks I want 3-4 QBs, 3-4 TEs, and 2-4 wrs. And I really would be fine with 4 QBs, 4 tes, 2 wr, 0 rb

I probably am trying to move up into rounds 6-8 to try to get 10 picks in first 7-8 rounds.

This is likely the cheapest you're going to get QBs and TEs.

To answer your original questions, I don't think Andrews or laporta should make it to the 1,2 turn. Elite TEs especially young ones like laporta are almost more valuable than QBs. I honestly don't think I'd consider a wr until round 3 (as in I'd only consider drafting JJ, chase, or lamb in round 3)

I’d say if you have early pick and can trade back to the end of 1st/early 2nd for a good price I’d want to do that in this format. Will get either a good qb or te there.

Agree on not even looking at RBs until the rest of your roster is full. QBs and TEs are going to be incredibly valuable and hard to get.
