Baker or Kamara?

My other QBs are Lamar, Geno, & Dobbs and my RBs are basically JT, Bijan, & Chuba/Sanders.

Do I give away Baker for Kamara?

I really want to say Kamara, but Mayfield has been a very solid QB2 this year in SF. Safe play is the QB here.

If you’re focusing on a playoff run. I’d take kamara. I don’t care too much about the general long term value of them as both won’t be great long term pieces. Geno/Dobbs are atleast comparable pieces to baker for your superflex spot. Kamara is a very considerable upgrade to your 3rd rb spot.

Best he could add to the Kamara side is Zappe or Arod. Im torn cause I haven’t started Baker once this year, even tho he would’ve been the better choice on several occasions over LJax & Geno…Kamara would likely be used in the playoffs…but I also agree, that if Saints go Jaboo, Kamaras value plummets…

In a vacuum it's a toss-up. In your situation I think Kamara is a no-brainer.

Would you even start Baker over Dobbs? I would rather start Dobbs. And if something happens to him Geno and Baker are mostly a wash.

Kamara meanwhile is a HUGE upgrade at RB for this year.

Long term neither likely has much shelf-life. Kamara may have 0-1 years left after this but how much longer is Baker really going to be starting for a team? I think it's likely he'll be like Wentz/Darnold/Mariota/etc and kind of fade away over the next year or two.

If you think you have a serious chance to win it all this year, I'm not letting some part-time starting QB like Baker stop me from adding a big win-now piece like AK. If Baker was your second QB and you had no one else, sure hold Baker. But you have enough depth to make this deal and help your 2023 roster.

This. Get Kamara and draft a QB next year. I was down on Kamara, but think he has a FEW good years left.
