Trying to upgrade my QB2

I’m in a contender 16 team 1QB league where QB are among our highest scores since we get points for completions.

My backup QB Ryan Tannehill looks like he just lost his job. I’m thinking of trying to add a solid backup as insurance. If Herbert were go down after our trade deadline my team would be screwed in the playoffs.

I have depth at WR and could probably move someone like Aiyuk for a good QB and a pick. The best available QBs are probably Brock Purdy, Jared Goff and Justin Fields. Would you trade Aiyuk for either guy and a 2024 2nd? I reached out to the Stroud owner but got shot down.

I’d probably be interested in Goff then Purdy. But if the Purdy owner is stressing maybe he’s cheaper?

Hard to say in your format, but I feel like Aiyuk should bring a first back with a QB?

I would rather hold Aiyuk and trade a Hopkins or lesser depth for a QB

Based on the available options, I would hold Aiyuk here. Fields has the most blowup factor if you go this route but carries some long term risk.
