Trade 1.03 for Dameon Pierce + Picks

Have an offer to receive Dameon Pierce, 2023 2.03, 2023 2.12, projected late 2024 2nd. I would send the 2023 1.03.

Feels like a yes for me as it is highly unlikely i get gibbs. Thiughts??

I would not move an early 1st this early in the offseason. That pick is gold and will gain more value with the rookie craze. It's way too early to move thar pick.

Yeah i agree thats the main reason ive held off bc picks always increase, especially a top 3. But after this college season I feel the 2023 class is not looking as strong as we all thought outside of bijan and gibbs.

Would love that. But the holder of 1.02 is an insanely unreasonable owner. Owner of 1.01 is stacked and has no reason to move off bijan.

Exactly what I was thinking. NFL has zero loyalty when it comes to 4 round running backs and beyond. James Robinson is a great example and there are a lot of others.

This is why I wouldn't do it either.

It's not that I'd be unwilling to move the 1.03 for a current RB, but I don't trust Pierce. He's exactly the profile of backs that have burned us before by flashing and getting replaced or ending up in a RBBC. The value of Pierce was largely driven by his complete domination of carries this season (no other HOU RB was close). If that goes away, he becomes a flex option not a RB2. And it feels kind of likely to me to see that happen.

I definitely don't mind moving the 1.03 for a RB. I'd look for someone else. And I'd for sure wait until the rookie hype machine is in full gear.

Keep 1.03. You can always move for RBs after FA and the draft shakes out. Buying non elite level RBs in January is a risky business.
