Andrews / Gallup trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Andrews / Gallup trade

Postby junk_monkey » Sun Aug 30, 2020 12:35 am

I have Andrews and Kittle and am a little weak at WR. Been offered Gallup + 2nd for Andrews + 4th (10 team league with full IDP, 4th round picks are still (mildly) relevant). Would you do that deal? Thanks.

Nah. Gallup is just another guy in the WR15-45 range, Andrews is a difference maker.

I would hold Andrews even with owning Kelce. You could start and flex both each week in a pinch.

Start 2-3 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-2 TE. I’ll be starting 3 RBs so it’s a choice between Kittle, Andrews and 3 WRs or one of Kittle and Andrews and 4 WRs.

I'm high on Gallup, but I still wouldn't do this. You can definitely get more for Andrews. If not just keep him, TE scarcity is a much bigger team problem than WR scarcity. A competing team should offer far more at some point in the season.

Andrews >>>>>> Gallup. Young established TE which can be a very scarce position versus a talented WR in a muddled WR group on a team where targets will be spread out. This one is easily the Andrews side. He should get you a WR like Ridley, Sutton, AJB types.
