Gardner Minshew value

The Foles contract is a big elephant in the room. Is Gardner an ok third choice QB?

I think he's worth a mid 2nd or so. I don't see him as a long term starter. He may start next year, he may not. I don't think he's the answer in Jacksonville. He was a cool story for a bit, but I don't think he's starting caliber material for any length of time.

Absolutely not. You want your 3rd QB to be someone that you can plug-and-play in your lineup. Ideally, he'd have upside potential (e.g., Daniel Jones). Worst case, a veteran starter (like Rivers -- presuming that he has a job).

Gardner doesn't fit that profile at all. Stash him if you believe in him, but don't depend on him as a 3rd QB.

If Gardner was a 1st round NFL pick everyone would be saying what a great rookie year he had and he'd be top 10 in dynasty. I like him in Gruden's offense

He is currently my 3rd/4th option depending on if teddy bridgewater gets a starting nod. It will be interesting to see what the Jags do in the first round. I hope they let minshew start
