Sorry if this exists already the search function is sucking for me
Who would you rate higher between Michael Thomas and OBJ?
To me of all the young WR Studs Hopkins is the clear WR1 with Adams maybe WR2 because Nuk has performed with all kinds of mediocre QBs and Rodgers will be elite for a few more years at least.
3/4 For me would be OBJ or MT. Both are 26 (MT is 6 months younger). MT has 2 less years in the league. OBJ has had a couple more injuries than MT.
But also OBJ has had success with a less successful QB (Eli vs Brees). My biggest concern is whether or not MT could be just as successful with a mediocre QB whenever brees decides to retire where as I have more confidence in OBJ to perform with mediocre QBs.
All this to say who would you rather own for the rest of their career and why?

Re: MThom vs OBJ
I like Thomas more based on his ability to dominate corners and safety's based on size but is there a production decrease after Brees? I would still take Thomas but they are neck and neck. Beckham is appealing for skill set and QB situation.
Re: MThom vs OBJ
Voted MT, but probably personal preference. OBJ can be a bit of a head case, maybe I’m still upset about his suspension during the FF finals a couple years ago

Re: MThom vs OBJ
Like both, but OBJ is the more talented player, and I think over their prime, has the better situation. OBJ by a hair for me.

Re: MThom vs OBJ
This is close, but I'd go OBJ for dynasty because of the post-Brees question.

OBJ, but obviously very close.
Re: MThom vs OBJ
Close and splitting hairs to me, I'd take MT because of the OBJ injury/antics risk
Re: MThom vs OBJ
If I'm rebuilding, give me the security of MT. If I'm going for it this year, give me the ceiling of what OBJ could accomplish with Mayfield.

Re: MThom vs OBJ
I have both and I really don’t know who’d I’d give the edge too. If I had to pick, I’d probably go with Thomas right now, but could very well change my mind tomorrow. As of right now, we have seen what Thomas can do with Brees, but how much longer does Brees have and how will a new QB be with Thomas? The move to CLE was probably the best thing for OBJ. While early reports are good between Baker and OBJ, we also haven’t seen what they will look like together. I have them both ranked team together.

Good drafts, timely trades, and a little bit of luck honestly.

Re: MThom vs OBJ
It’s funny in the offseason I was trying to maybe add a late 2nd to MThom for OBJ now someone is offering me OBJ and a 2nd & 3rd for MThom and I’m having trouble pulling the trigger.
Looking back in previous years:
2016:
MT: 15 games 92/1137/9 255.7 points 17ppg - WR6
OBJ: 16 games 101/1367/10 296.6 points 18.5ppg - WR3
2017:
MT: 16 games 104/1245/5 258.5 points 16.2 ppg - WR6
OBJ: 4 games 25/302/3 74 points 18.5ppg - WR79
2018:
MT: 16 games 125/1405/9 315.5 points 19.7ppg - WR6
OBJ: 12 games 77/1052/6 230.34 points 19.2ppg - WR15
2019 (week 5):
MT: 5 games 45/543/3 117.3 points 23.5ppg - WR2
OBJ: 5 games 23/335/1 62.8 points 12.6ppg - WR34
Seems to be that Odell has the higher upside yet is more injury prone. In this time span OBJ has missed 16 games while MT has missed 1. So obviously in a full 16 game season OBJ could score more, however MT would be more likely to play a full season over OBJ
As a fantasy owner who prefers consistent players over boom or bust players, I thought that was why I prefer MT over OBJ. Injuries seem to play a part, as well as the whole Cleveland situation that’s going on right now.
