This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Two Firsts for DJ

Postby baldwin415 » Thu Aug 08, 2019 9:08 am

The trade is essentially giving up 1.04 and a 2020 1st for David Johnson. Yea or Nay?
The Dynasty-hee: 10 team, .5 PPR, Keep 15, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3WR, 2 Flex
QB - Herbert, Stafford
RB - JT, Ekeler, Montgomery, Peterson, Scott, Hasty
WR - Thielen, Woods, Hill, Cooper, Bateman, M. Jones, Davis, Sanders, Hardman, Callaway, Gallup
TE - Kittle, Thomas, Seals-Jones, Trautman, Conklin
2022: 1st (late), 3rd (early), 3rd (early), 4th (late)

I would hold your picks for either team in your signature. Keep building.

Not a bad price to pay. But not seeing a contending roster (no elite players at RB/WR) for you to make this deal. I'd keep the picks a keep building.
1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/1Flex(RB/WR/TE)
12 team .5 PPR Full Dynasty
QB: A.Rodgers
RB: Gurley, DJ, CMC, Hunt, AJ Dillon, Penny
WR: M.Thomas, Theilen, Evans, Slayton, Boyd, Renfrow
TE: Kittle, Hurst
K: Lutz
Def: Pats, Seattle

2020 - 2x 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th...

As long as the 2020 1st isn't early, I'd pay that.

Your team is awful. DJ isn't going to help you win, and it's going to move your rebuild back longer. By the time your team is competing, DJ will be done and have little to no value.

In a vacuum, the deal makes sense. For your team, it makes no sense.
