Dynasty PPR - Todd Gurley trade offer

Would you do this trade and what would your top 6 players be in dynasty rookie draft.

Why can you explain ? With 1.5 I'm guessing I will get Ronald Jones and 1.6 probably Royce Freeman that should be 2 starters for years to come. Plus 2019 1st round to play with next year ?

I wouldn't do this trade, I would need more to move Gurley.
My top 6 rookies are... 1. Barkley, 2. Jones, 3. Guice, 4. Penny, 5. Chubb, 6. Michel

I would absolutely hold Gurley for that price. I don't see much point to move Gurley right now though.

Why you ask? Because gurley is 24 and just nearly scored 100 more ppr points than any other WR or RB, trading him for 2 dart throws of rookies is a mistake, you need someone like Dalvin Cook instead of a 2019 1st and I'd consider the deal. You are making a huge mistake in believing every rookie RB this year will pan out, last year was a FLUKE. you honestly believe that 7 rookie RB's will come into the league and all of the will be top 15 RB's? No, it won't happen. Gurley is the #1-3 dynasty asset in startup drafts. 1st round rookie picks are valued around the 6/7th round in startups, would you trade the 1.01 startup pick away for 2 6th round picks and an 8th(discounted for future year)? No you would at the very minimal want a backend 1st round startup pick or a top 2nd round startup pick back and then throw in 2 6th rounds.

I posted on this thread in the other forum, but I'll comment here as well because I hate this deal so much for you. First off, you could absolutely get more from another owner if you are hell bent on moving Gurley. Second, Gurley is the RB1/RB2 in all of fantasy football right now. You are talking about moving him for three question marks. Which leads me to my third point. If you can guarantee that rookie RBs taken at 5 and 6 are going to be starters for years to come, I would love to know what crystal ball you are using. Could they, sure, but why give up a pretty sure thing (at least as far as fantasy football goes) who is only 23 years old?

Sure if it worked out that Freeman and Jones were starters for their respective teams for the next 5-7 years AND that first round pick turned into a top 3 pick next year. But dude we have no idea what Freeman and Jones are going to be.
If you want to trade Gurley so bad, you better make sure to get at least a top 15 dynasty asset in return along with some picks.

On side note you might laugh but I traded Leveon Bell for 1.1 pick and 2nd round 2019. I badly wanted Saquon Barkley and I know costly trade but being that I am in dynasty league I did it.

Im much more ok with this ^. You probably still lose in terms of "value" but its much much closer and justifiable.

I think you posted in the correct forum! and no worries at all! I would've wanted a little more for Barkley to be honest but if you really believe in barkley its not a crazy trade, he's 21 vs 26 and with Davis and Williams still so young it may take them another year or 2 to flourish so it may have been smart to get the RB that will still be 23 in 2 years when you're ready to compete! a 10x better trade than grabbing the 1.06 and 1.05. At least with Barkley we are very confident of the workload and talent.

Sweet thanks guys. This is awesome forum to get replies back to my question so fast. I think with Desean Watson, Barkley, Hopkins, Engram I already have pretty good lineup. Also expecting 1000 yard season from Corey Davis hopefully. So really just need little more help at WR position that I might be able to trade or pickup in free agency . Also Jay Ajayi which I traded other guy Chris McCaffrey for earlier this season is a major sleeper. McCaffrey was too one dimensional with no in between tackle running game. I think Jay Ajayi again is my sleeper that I could use in flex position. I think I could still win it this year but will see.
