Which QB would you rather have going forward ( Henne or Stafford) and how close is it.

Stafford for sure.
It's decently close though.
I'd take Stafford a round or 2 ahead of Henne in a startup draft.

Very, very close. Just from what I've seen, I like Henne just slightly better. Before the addition of Marshall, I would have gone Stafford. It is hard to go Henne simply based on the fact that Stafford has Calvin, Best, and two good pass catching TE's, but I just really like what I saw out of Henne last season.

On my rankings list its close - Stafford #12...Henne #16 - but I don't think they are as close as that. Stafford definitely has the higher ceiling.

This debate keeps coming up quite a bit around here it seems. I would go with Henne. I liked him before Marshall got to Miami. Now that he has a weapon like Marshall, I am expecting a big season.

I had both on my team and just completed a deal for MJD that included a young QB. I chose to unload Henne over Stafford b/c I like the mentality of Stafford and what the Lions are doing around him. (wow, who would have thought that a couple of years ago?) I really like both of them, especially with the addition of BM in Miami, but I personally prefer Stafford. He's the more accurate passer and has Megatron as a deep threat at WR vs. Marshall who is more of a possession guy.

Both are QB2's with QB1 upside for fantasy and both are ranked smack dab in the middle of the pack right now.
