Bear's receivers

Postby Orca » Fri May 28, 2010 10:42 am

We needed some fresh topics on the board.

Here is an interesting one. It's really between Aromashadu, Knox and Hester but I figured I throw in the other 2 for discussion sake.

First vote goes to Aroma.... I think Aroma has the most upside, but Knox has the hands, speed, and route running to be better then P.Harvin this year. Knox is the safest choice. I think you have them listed in order of value right now.

I think the situation is still pretty much up in the air. I still like Bennett, and agree Knox is a safer bet, but Hester is the one most likely to still be employed three years from now.

My heart is with Aroma, I really think he will break out this year and be valuable. My brain tells me to go with Knox since he's younger and has more opportunity than Aroma did at this point in his career. I voted Knox.

i like to look at hester as a WR going into his 3rd year as a started, the 3rd year is generally the break out season. these are his first 2 season numbers. I expect hester to have +1000 yards and +5td's. that might not make him the bears leading reciever but, seeing as its the bears... it may.

2009 13 57 757 58.2 13.3 48 4.7 34 3

Rosters must always be 3qbs 4wrs 4rbs 2tes 2kickers 2dst and protected players don't take up a roster spot, but are only for rookie/2nd-year players that were drafted

Martz talks so highly of Jay Cutler that i think he will have Jay throw to himself and will lead the Bears in receptions :D

It really is a tough one here.. Aromashadu came on strong at the end of the year when given a chance.. Hester seems to always be hurt.. Knox has shown some flashes.. I took Knox because he is the youngest and I think he can only get better.. Aromashadu could end up being the best one, but if I were drafting I just couldnt take him ahead of Knox.. Hester is kind of the forgotten man here too though, IF he can stay healthy for once he could also put up some massive numbers and he is still only 27..

Knox. Love the kid. Like I said in another thread, he reminds me of a young Tory Holt.

I agree here with Mark. I think Aromashadu has aa great chance to be THE guy, but, I've been on Knox since he was drafted by DaBears!

none. None of them will ever break 60 receptions thus none of them are worth having unless you need help badly at WR.
