Antonio Brown vs DeAndre Hopkins

Postby Priest4242 » Sat Jul 30, 2016 10:34 pm

I have Brown he has Hopkins. Browns obviously worth more but I'm trying to figure out what the difference is. What do you guys think? How much more would you expect?

Unless you award return yards there worth roughly the same, so I wouldn't expect anything in return. If he came to you tell him to send an offer, and shoot for swapping a 2 into a 1, if your going to him be prepared to do the same but shoot for a straight swap and settle on sending a 2. I own both in various places and as a Nuk owner I'd need a reason to be taking on the four extra years.

I somewhat agree with Mjvb5

I see no difference in "Dynasty Value" between Antonio Brown and DeAndre Hopkins. Both are 1.02-1.04 somewhere in there with Julio (imo)

It just comes down to personal preference. Do you want the immediate higher upside or 4 years younger with future upside?

Piling on the Hopkins side here. I don't think there is much difference in value.

I wouldn't add anything to Nuk to acquire Brown. As stated by others they are near even based on preference.

Brown is for sure better at this moment in time. Who knows how well Brock Lobster will play? The Steelers clearly have zero depth behind Big Ben, so Brown's value may dive once Ben goes away (he's old and often hurt).

To win now Brown will give you the better chance, Nuk isn't far behind but he's got more years of football to play.
Cheers,
AJ
