Very nice.

Some may not like the first trade but Fields is a difference maker ROS and at least 2024
No guarantee he's going anywhere he starts in 24 so definitely not "at least". That's probably hopeful but we could've said the same for Lance last year.
Either CHI keeps him and would therefore be committing, or he's traded and draws at least a 2nd rounder... a team paying that will definitely start him.

Lance and Fields are not comparable here, much larger body of work for Fields
What GM and HC is comfortable hitching their wagon and their livelihoods to Justin Fields ?

CHI doesn't exactly have leverage in trade negotiations. If they're drafting Caleb/Maye it's obvious they're desperate to move Fields...... Who's body of work consists of quarterbacking one of the worst teams in the league, not one, but two years in a row.

It's a near zero chance Chicago passes on the decisions to reset the clock on the QB, forego having to pay Fields, and just rebuild with the extra draft capital they have.

Fields is going somewhere else and there is absolutely no telling how that is gonna go.

I've held onto Fields through two giant value dips. The 2nd time around I couldn't get single 1st for him after spamming for a single 1st in 24' and 25' to 11 other managers.

If you have Justin Fields consider yourself blessed with this final end of season value peak that you may be ever so lucky to upgrade to a Burrow, Herbert, AR, etc

If you haven't been trying to send Fields to a contender for an injured QB like that you're missing the boat big time.

There's no spin to be had. They want out and so do I.

Yea lol a second for fields is rich. Lance got a fourth, why would fields get a second? Delusional until we see evidence otherwise. I get the concept of it but I completely agree

None of these trades are mine but always interesting to see trades made with teams trying to advance in playoffs. There was a team that lost BRob and Pacheco so he was scrambling to make moves. Ended up starting Zeke (which a team got earlier as insurance) and Hubbard.

One trade done yesterday about 5pm:

Give: 2024 3rd (3.09-3.12)
Got: Ezekiel Elliott

All done about 12:30pm today:

Give: Ezekiel Elliott, D'Onta Foreman, 2024 2nd (2.09-2.12)
Got: Brian Robinson, 2024 3rd (3.09-3.12), 4.03

Give: Kenny Pickett and 2024 1st (1.09-1.12)
Got: Alvin Kamara

Give: 2024 3rd (most likely 3.07 but if team comes back, 3.09-3.12)
Got: Chubba Hubbard

So this just happened in one of my leagues:

1.04 + Kenneth Walker for the 1.01

the guy trading for the 1.01 has incredible deep RBs (Etienne, Pollard, Achane, Kyren Williams, Warren, Conner and Dobbins), but no WR behind AJ Brown. He has a boner for MHJ and „wanted to get in before the hype really starts“. It’s also SF.

I’m not sure if i hate this trade or if I love it.

Now watch MHJ go back to Ohio state.

I have 1.01 and 1.02 and was thinking trading 1.02 early (opposite of usual pick value trend) could become an absolute steal in MHJ stays.

I like the 1.01 side of this trade as well but so far in my league is looking like you can get more.

It's a SF, so that 1.01 is still the better side of the deal IMO

For
Late 24 first (8-10) and Aaron Jones

10 Team league 2QB .5PPR, no TE premium. I’m in first in my division, tiering down from swift to Jones and from Kittle to Logan Thomas. I’ve ridden Kittle to 3 titles but in this format everyone likes their one tight end and you can find similar production on the wire, traded with the team in first on the other bracket who wanted a te upgrade.

Also scared of Aaron Jones but just need him to be a RB2 for me. Basically moved off Swift for a first and Kittle for Jones. Gives me 2 firsts, a second, third, fourth to play with and hedge my bets. Won it all last year.

Start 2 QBs: Burrow, Dak, Z Wilson
Start 2 RB: Rham, A Jones, Gus
Start 3 WR: Tyreek, Lamb, G Wilson, M Thomas, Shaheed, Lazard, Chark
2 Flex spots
TE: L Thomas, schoonmaker
That first turned into 1.06 which makes me feel good. 1.06 in 2QB/Superflex and Aaron jones for Swift and Kittle (non te prem). I’m in the semis still so won’t be mad if I get knocked out.

Was a few trades in the making but essentially bounced Pollard & Kelce for Kittle, a late 1st and two 2nds.

Gives me a few extra years at TE, albeit at a production hit and some more draft firepower to finish my rebuild.

Gave Aiyuk for Addison and 1.10

Really sucked losing Aiyuk especially after he nearly got me to an improbable SF win but I had to take that

Gonna go out and send this offer to the Aiyuk owner.

I’d much rather haver Aiyuk who SF is unlikely able to pay and is a truly elite talent

If SF can't keep him then yeah he has a real chance at being the next Diggs (unless he ends up on the Titans or something)

But otherwise his efficiency is otherworldly this year and has to regress. I don't see WR1 happening in SF (I do feel very confident that he will hit a WR1 season in his career though)

I would have taken that too. But I can see why someone would pay that for Aiyuk as well.
