(Rotoworld) Vikings beat writer Sean Jensen speculates that E.J. Henderson's gruesome leg injury could be career threatening. Analysis: Let's see how Henderson's recovery goes before we end his career. The bad news is that he'll be 30 in August and has two non-guaranteed years left on his contract. Rookie backup Jasper Brinkley's play will also play a big factor in what happens with Henderson.
Is he even worth rostering in IDP leagues now?Question will Brinkley be worth anything, or do we look else where for help?

There have been several ugly ugly leg injuries this year. That has to be one of the worst I've seen. The Anthony Munoz injury is one that I'll never forget... but EJ's injury has just been added to that list.
Terrible news.

Very true! It looks worse if a leg breaks, but its actually better than tearing an ACL I guess. Because the leg will heal, but the knee and its stability just never is the same again.Steelersfan wrote:Good news then.Misfit74 wrote:No torn ligaments - just a badly broken leg. He'll be back no problem.

E.J. Henderson-LB-Vikings Feb. 14 - 8:27 pm et
Vikings MLB E.J. Henderson (broken femur) has been at team headquarters on a daily basis since the start of the offseason.
GM Rick Spielman is "hopeful" that Henderson will be able to participate in some fashion prior to training camp, but he's still got a long way to go and isn't a lock to be ready for opening day in 2010. The Vikings may consider middle linebacker a need area. Jasper Brinkley is a viable alternative on early downs, but is a serious liability when asked to cover.
