danny trevathan - need another linebacker for depth and future. he is putting up some good stats. will he lose his job when von miller return. any thoughts on him. also considering paysinger - who appears to be 3 down backer in ny - but the nyg lb never put up stats.

I'm very much hoping that Trevathan will make the weak side his, and Von Miller can arm-wrestle Phillips for the strong side.

I didn't see the Giants-Broncos game, so I don't know how they lined up, but the snap count was

Phillips 48/79
Five DBs had a higher snap count than Trevathan so I guess he didn't play in nickel situations. I hope that will change next season, as he seems pretty good in coverage (with the occasional costly lapse).

Still, 8 solos and a sack off 65% of snaps isn't bad.
