First time IDP, need help/advice on my dynasty team.

Hey guys, not only is this the first time I'm using IDP's, but it's the first time I'm playing dynasty, so I'm unsure of how to rate my defensive squad. I'm also unsure as to what/who exactly I should be looking for. As of now, I've been feeling my DL players are a liability, but I'd definitely love to have a second opinion.

Format:
Standard IDP scoring according to NFL.com (2 sack, 1 tackle, .5 assist)
Players: DB - DB - LB - LB - DL - DL - Flex

My IDP roster:
DL - Mario Williams, Ezekiel Ansah, Cameron Jordan
DB - Duke Ihenacho, Eric Reid, Aaron Williams, Lardarius Webb
LB -Bruce Carter, Lavonte David, Bobby Wagner, Sio Moore

Right now, I know Lavonte and Wagner are solid, and that Carter is on the rise. Sio Moore is a good looking prospect as well, so I'm thinking I'm set on LBs for now.

I managed to pick up Ihenacho for cheap and got a steal on drafting Eric Reid; Aaron Williams is looking like the top safety in Buffalo and Webb is a big-play corner so I'm thinking my CB's are solid too.

Finally, coming to my DL - I'm afraid that my pick of Mario Williams was a bust. I realize that the patriots haven't given up much to DL IDP players in the past few years, but 1.5 is pretty piss poor for my top DL. I'm also concerned about Cameron Jordan. He's in a 3-4, and I hear 4-3 generally have higher scoring players. Coupling that with his score of 1.5 leaves me worried about him too. Finally, Ansah looks like a great prospect to have, but he's not going to get full playingtime this year unless something out of the ordinary happens.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Don't panic! One thing you will learn is that DL are notoriously inconsistent. Even the great ones (except for maybe Watt ) have thier down games (1 or 2 tackles). It is just the nature of the beast. Without knowing who is on your WW, your DL look fine to me. You are right, in that 4-3 DE are generally better than 3-4 DE, but there ARE exceptions.

You could, but I would pprobably drop Jordon for him. But either way is fine, because DB's are easy to replace. However, Webb may start getting some return duties soon, if your league gives points for that.

Ah yeah I have noticed that. However, my league does not award points for invidual special teams returns.

edit: Just dropped Webb for Liuget. Between my 3 safeties, I feel that I have the DB position firmly covered.
