Thing is, a team without a starting QB is also likely in the bottom 6.

On another note, I'm officially upgrading my Hernandez worry meter from "not worried" to "somewhat concerned." I am gonna be pretty annoyed if he ends up in jail/suspended, for two reasons:

1. I took him over Gronk due to the drop 6 format
and
2. In my other dynasty league, the start-up was last year and my third round pick was Britt, who, just like now, is in trouble with police a day after I drafted him before the draft is even over. I'm just never gonna make a 3rd round pick ever again!
Unless he is charged with murder and arrested, he will play. Maybe get a 1 game suspension for all this news in the media. I think you should be alright. (I hope as a fellow Hernandez owner)

The silver lining is that my main division rival in my other dynasty league has Hernandez and nothing worthwhile to back him up. I also play him week one. All about looking on the bright side!

Well he traded on of his three qb's.

Traded Cam Newton and Antonio Brown for Chris Johnson and Colston

Color me impressed. Clear wins on both players.

Great trade for Brian D, especially since he picked Cam at 36 and Brown at 60, while the other team selected CJ at 26 and Colston at 52.

Definitely the most fun I've ever had in a free league.

Other than being kinda bummed that I pretty much didn't have a 3rd round pick (Hernandez), I have enjoyed it as well. Deck is stacked against me to make it out of this year... I have to draft like a madman to stand a chance!

I need some luck on my RB situation to hang around. But agree the league is a ton of fun this far for a free league. I hope we get a weekly blurb on the podcast!

Maybe a breakdown of the team that beats Tim and Jarrett each week.

Overall I'm happy with my team. Some of my pre draft picks I should have stuck with my gut and not hoped that a guy would fall another round. Especially Rueben Randle, after trading away Broyles I should have taken him instead of Pead. Starting lineup looking like:

Luck
Rice, Ridley
Dez, Cruz, Decker
Gonzo, Allen
Broncos

Then there would be no blurb though :whistle:

My starting lineup, if you can call it that:

QB: {Eli, Tannehill, Cutler}
RB: Charles, Morris
WR: Andre Johnson, Amendola, {Steve Smith, Jennings}
TE: {Bennett, Cameron}
Flex: Reggie Bush

I'll be making several lineup decisions each week. I'm not very good at lineup decisions. :doh:

Missed out on some RB targets, but still feel decent about my other areas with starters:

Romo
Bernard/Vereen
AJGreen/Cobb/Blackmon
Lacy or Givens (flex)
Gronk

My team

QB: Kaepernick
RB: McCoy, David Wilson
WR: Nicks, Britt, Gordon (probably Vincent Brown when Gordon is suspended)
TE: Olsen
Flex: Lamar Miller

Seems like a boom or bust team with the format of the bottom 6 teams getting kicked out. Risky strategy, but should allow for a ton of fun if this team performs to expectations.
