Re: 2024 Bad Trade Offers
Setting aside the trade, I'm slightly surprised by your value on Kraft. Are you saying that for 1QB or SF? I have Kraft as ~TE20 for dynasty and outside of the top-24 for redraft. I can't see how that's worth a late first or early 2nd unless it's 1QB and a very heavy TEP. And even then I'm not sure. I could totally see the argument to re-roll on Kraft for Sinnott for example - and that's not a 1st round value.Shcritters wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 8:12 pm Not horrible, but from someone who I had already told I valued Kraft as a late 1st early 2nd.

SF, super TE Prem. 1.5PPR, .15pt/rec-yd. Sinnott will be a late 1st pick this year, and Sanders could be an early 2nd.tstafford wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 3:20 amSetting aside the trade, I'm slightly surprised by your value on Kraft. If you deep dive on the 2nd half of the year stats for Kraft he outplayed Musgrave (even when both healthy). Late 1st is a little bit of a stretch, but early 2nd definitely not. Will be interesting to see who shakes out in GB as the primary pass catchers.

Re: 2024 Bad Trade Offers
Completed trade in one of my leagues.
12tm, 1qb, no TEP
qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/wr/te/flex
Team A receives: Diontae Johnson, 2024 overall 13th pick in draft
Team B receives: Davante Adams, Dalton Schultz
Team B finished the 2023 season with the third worst record and will not contend for at least the next two years.
As a result of trade Team A also receives 2nd overall pick in draft because of the league's keeper rules.
Team A has been in the championship game the last two years (lost both) and has a Top2 roster (CMC/Breece/Burrow/JJ/Olave/Andrews) in the league. Before the trade, Team A had no draft picks in the first 90picks. After the trade, Team A has the 2nd overall and 13th overall, in addition to getting Diontae Johnson.
Just a bad deal no matter how it's sliced up. Schultz was TE15 in this league last year and is carries almost no value in this scoring system. Team A was going to be forced to cut Schultz after our draft next week because he has Pitts/Andrews and needed the roster space.

Trade’s awful but I’m confused how this trade gives the second best team pick 2 in the rookie draft.Anteaters wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 6:32 am Completed trade in one of my leagues.

Re: 2024 Bad Trade Offers
To be concise about it, the keeper rules for players you drafted yourself mandate you give up a pick in the same round you originally drafted that player, for every year you keep that player. Team A originally drafted Adams in the first round, so Team A was not supposed to have a 1st round pick this year. This year, 11 of the 12 teams were retaining a player that team had previously drafted in a 1st round, so only one team was drafting in the first round. Once Team A traded away Adams, he regained his 1st round pick this year ... meaning he has the overall 2nd pick in the draft because only one other team has a 1st round pick.natjjohn wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 5:28 pmTrade’s awful but I’m confused how this trade gives the second best team pick 2 in the rookie draft.Anteaters wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 6:32 am Completed trade in one of my leagues.

No teams have a 2nd round pick. Five have a 3rd round pick. My 3rd round pick is the 7th overall. Because our draft has free agent veteran players as well, I'll probably get the fourth rookie. I'm really hoping for Odunze to fall.

Re: 2024 Bad Trade Offers
This is awful.Anteaters wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 6:32 am Completed trade in one of my leagues.
