Bowers vs Kincaid vs pitts
In a superflex tight end premium with 2 ppr , how would you rank these 3 tight ends and how early would you be willing to draft them in this format?
Think there are arguments for all 3 but would love some other opinions.
Thank you for your feedback

I’d agree but 2024 is a make or break year for Pitts. New coaching staff and a QB. If he stalls this year then Bowers. Bowers has the hype but at this point need to see it… just like Pitts in that regard.kellysheroes wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 7:01 pm Kincaid then Bowers for me. Pitts kinda of lost his shine

Well look at you rocking the boat with anointing someone who hasn’t played a down yet number 1. Lol
I guess this thread question could go two ways:
1. Highest Ceiling Potential
2. Who’s going to produce more value
I personally need to see Bowers produce first before I would just put him over the other two upfront. I’m definitely open to changing my rankings mid season or so, but I really believe that Kincaid will be in the top 2 of scoring for all TEs in 2024.

Re: Bowers vs Kincaid vs pitts
I mean rookie-year Kincaid basically did what Pitts did in his worst season, not counting the one where he missed almost half the games due to injury, so I wouldn't say Kincaid has actually "produced" either. A receiving TE that averages less than 10 yards a catch is gonna either need to up his YPC or eat a ton of volume to produce.TheTroll wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 2:33 amWell look at you rocking the boat with anointing someone who hasn’t played a down yet number 1. Let's also consider DK did that with Josh Allen throwing him the football while Pitts has had straight refuse his whole career; the best QB he's ever had was Matt Ryan and the tail-end of his career.
But yeah, I'll take the better athletes and much-more lauded prospects over Kincaid any day.

Re: Bowers vs Kincaid vs pitts
i legit have no idea how to rank em i like all 3 guys just fine and dont feel extremely safe weekly with any of them and hope for studly performances with each. pitts is the only one of the 3 we know can put up elite yardage numbers for a te so having him at 3 feels wrong but i also get the let downs from the years since the 1k. totally torn no strong preference for any one over the others here.

Re: Bowers vs Kincaid vs pitts
I'm usually not a rookie TE guy, but post-draft I decided I really like Bowers' landing. I think he's going to have a surprisingly great rookie season.
Kincaid's rookie season did not cement him as a T5TE to me. And Pitts is still Pitts, good but not spectacular. Not by so much I'd pay a premium to get him over either Pitts or Kincaid. But if I get to choose the one I want, it's Bowers. He's the only one who hasn't been not spectacular in the NFL yet.

Re: Bowers vs Kincaid vs pitts
Biased Gator fan
I voted Pitts, Kincaid, Bowers.
It's really Pitts/Kincaid tier down Bowers. I could see the argument for Kincaid > Pitts, but for me I believe the ceiling of Pitts is still higher and I hope that Kirk/Penix will give him a similar floor as Kincaid. I have to rank Bowers a tier lower due to the unknowns. Who is the long term QB, what is the split with Mayer, etc. The other two have clear cut TE1 roles for their teams with a healthy market share of targets.

Re: Bowers vs Kincaid vs pitts
I saw on twitter today where a ridiculous amount of TD scoring has been vacated with the departure of Diggs and Davis. With Coleman being a polarizing (at best) rookie, I like Kincaid to suck up most of those RZ/EZ targets (with Samuel 2nd behind him).
Kincaid easily this year, with Pitts behind him.
Ask again next year for fully formed opinion re: Bowers. I like him, but he’s never played an NFL snap and currently sketchy in LV
