Trade 1.01/1.06?
Trade 1.01/1.06?
Have a team that is in good shape with picks 1.01, 1.06, 1.09.
QB- Stroud, Stafford, Minshew
RB- Bijan, Hall, Gibbs, Kamara, Warren, Mostert, Zeke
WR- Olave, SJM, Nico, Kupp, Diggs, Cooper, JSN, CSamuel, Mims
TE- Kelce, Ferguson, Mayer
Picks: 1, 6, 9
Have an offer to send 1.01/1.06 for Lamb, or 1.01/1.06/1.09 for Mahomes. Am I suffering from crazy rookie fever to think that’s too much?

If you’re not sure, probably keep the picks. I have Lamb in one league and NOBODY will pay up for him. Nothing even close to the offer you described above. The picks probably offer more flexibility, and if you use them you can really round out your roster.

Re: Trade 1.01/1.06?
I mean, I wouldn't consider either of those deals either.
Note: I absolutely have rookie fever and am buying picks, not selling them.
You didn't provide the league size, starting requirements, any scoring modifiers, etc., but in 1QB I'm not trading MHJ + Bowers/Thomas away for Lamb or Harrison, Bowers, and Brooks away for Mahomes.
(In SF you shouldn't be looking to acquire Mahomes at these types of prices anyways with your roster.)

Not saying Lamb isn't a beast, but compared to his other seasons 2023 looks more like a happy fluke than the new norm to me.Dynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 12:57 pm If you’re not sure, probably keep the picks. Idk, maybe I'm way off but I don't see him catching a buck-thirty every year for 1700 yards moving forward.
We've been saying it on here for a while that the WR1/2 should command 3 1sts in value, which the offer in the OP falls in line with.
The rankings currently have him as WR1 which I don't believe he is and would not pay to find out.

Personally, I’m going Marv @ 1, Bowers [pivot WR (Thomas or Worthy)] @ 6, and Brooks or Benson @ 9, OP.

Re: Trade 1.01/1.06?
I'll be an outlier here, give me Mahomes. Your team is stacked outside of QB2. Mahomes is still my QB1 for dynasty. I'll take the guaranteed elite QB1 even over a generational prospect and elite TE/WR prospect (6 is Odunze or Bowers, right?) and 1.09 is in an entirely different tier. Rookies bust all the time. I know this year is different. But in 2025 we won't be saying this class is different, we'll just be overreacting to one bad season and selling off guys we drafted this year...
Re: Trade 1.01/1.06?
Could trade these pieces for something else then. Trading a late startup 1st plus pick 6 plus pick 9 for Mahomes in a start 11 is not worth it.Menace2010 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 3:42 pm I'll be an outlier here, give me Mahomes.
