Not sure I’d be posting about trades like this. It really makes a much larger statement about the quality of the league than it does about the savvy of the trader.

It’s usually a pretty sharp league, I think I just got lucky with rookie fever. The first trade — the guy had gutted his roster and needed players, and had just traded a second for Carr, so I took a chance that he wasn’t thinking enough about next year. The second — I saw he had a lot of RB depth but not enough at WR. All of the tier two receivers were on the board at 12, so I took a shot and it worked.

Don’t worry, there are lots of other times I’ve sold picks for established players that haven’t worked out!

Team D - I sent Marvin Harrison Jr and the 2.14, I got Malik Nabers and a 25 First from a probable really bad team (they earned the 1.02 this year, and don’t have more than a couple nice pieces to build on)

I'd only do that if you think that pick could be a top half pick. I think it's a mistake trading with me where you'd be moving a 1.12 in 2024 for the 1.12-1.14 in 2025.

This class has 12-14 first round quality players for 12/14+ SF leagues.

If you can pick up an early 2nd plus the 25 1st I think it makes more sense.

I'd only do that if you think that pick could be a top half pick. I think it's a mistake trading with me where you'd be moving a 1.12 in 2024 for the 1.12-1.14 in 2025.

Yeah, I tried trading my 25 1st and 2nd for the 1.12 and it got rejected. I have a pretty strong team, so I get why it got rejected, but those late 1sts are worth way more than normal in this class.

In my RB-premium league (we start a MINIMUM of three) I made this trade.

Gave: 2026 first (late) + 24 2.09
Got 1.10 to get Bensen (I have Conner)

So hard to get good rbs in this league and now I have Bijan, Kamara, Conner/Bensen
to go with Jefferson, Tyreek, KAllen, DAdams at WR
and Kelce at TE with Lawrence at QB.

Thanks, I thought so. Thought I had no chance at getting Bensen, and I'd have to watch Conner surrender.

What was the other guy thinking? (I'm assuming this is SF)
1.10 > 2026 first (even a random one)
Benson >> 2.09 (unless it's Cedric Benson)

This is an all around awful deal for the other team.
