Hey guys - first time poster here. Trying to get an understanding of what it would take to move up to the 1.02 from the 1.05 in a 10-team, 1QB league.
I was thinking it could take the 1.05 + 1.10 or 1.05 + Jayden Reed, but maybe I'm being more optimistic as I know I'm jumping a tier... very high on Nabers and am trying to gather star power (potential WR1) vs. depth (solid WR2) given the league format.
I know I need a second RB... but going to try and address that via trade for someone like Aaron Jones, Rhamondre, etc. using my late 2nd / 3rds...
Any thoughts would be appreciated and team in signature - thanks!

Re: Trade up to 1.02 - 1QB
Now this is a move worth trying. getting in the top 2 is key but it is going to cost you. It actually might take 1.05, 1.10 and Reed. dont be surprised.Dynacast wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 1:23 pm Hey guys - first time poster here. Re: Trade up to 1.02 - 1QB
Welcome to the community!
Based on the format, Harrison Jr. and Nabers are the prize in the draft with a big drop from there based on where we currently are. I think a solid add or big upside add would need added to make the jump. Maybe Rice? If you can get this done with Reed, I think the value is there for you.

Re: Trade up to 1.02 - 1QB
Welcome. You came to the right place.
I'm with Troll and GS - this is going to cost you. IMO there are three top prospects for 1QB (MJHR, Nabers and Odunze). But the consensus POV is that Nabers is a good bit above Odunze and closer to MHJR. Not sure I buy that. In leagues that have a TEP, Bowers is in that mix. In standard PPR he's the steak knives.
In most leagues you will have to come very strong to get the 1.02. Without knowing the roster of the team holding the 1.02, I'd think an opening offer of Higgins/1.05 is where I'd start. You're probably going to have to give up Rice/1.05. My guess is at this point Jayden Reed doesn't carry sufficient value. He was balling when other WRs were hurt. Savvy managers likely see that GBP is a WR by committee and all those guys are probably optimal for Best Ball.

Thanks all! Really appreciate everyone's responses.
I also wonder what the going rate for Gibbs is right now... I feel like this could be the apex of his value, so do you think getting the 1.02 / 1.03 could in the cards in this draft (the same owner owns 1.02 / 1.03)?

Re: Trade up to 1.02 - 1QB
Welcome! I may be different than others, but in a 10 team league I think you have some bigger needs than moving up to draft the one position I think you are set at. I would be looking at acquiring picks. I would sell high on Rice, I don't think he will ever be a true WR#1, but somebody may pay that price right now.
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

Re: Trade up to 1.02 - 1QB
I’d hold onto Gibbs right now there’s no reason to move him he’s a top 3 rb asset at the moment and has proven he can play in the nfl. Don’t trade him away for a couple of wildcards, especially in this rb deficient draftDynacast wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 6:26 am Thanks all! Really appreciate everyone's responses.
