Offer late R1 for Warren?

Signature is up-to-date, in win-now mode, expecting to get a BYE in first round of playoffs making my R1 no earlier than p7 of 10 picks.

WR depth might be a better place to spend if I’m going to spend, but J. Warren owner is willing to consider my R1. Most likely if my RBs are healthy (CMC, Monty, Mostert) then Warren would never come off the bench, but if one of them isn’t good to go, that would make me fill my FLEX with Diontae or OBJ or a back up RB.

Thoughts? Oh, and if I wanted to target WR depth I’m guessing the best I’ll get a bite on is DJ Moore. I’ve got a text out to the owner of Moore, Godwin, and A. Gibson to see if any are available at the late R1 price.

So I guess:
1. Warren for a late R1 helps win-now
2. Wait until the Moore, Godwin, Gibson owner responds
3. None of these players are going to put you over the top, keep your R1

Still waiting to hear from the other two owners that are mathematically out of it this year. One has DJ. Moore and Godwin both that are worth close to my R1. He also has A.Gibson who I’d pair with his R2 to get my R1.

The other owner has:
A.Dillon, R.Rice, C.Hubbard, E.Elliot, and J.Connor that could be in that range and LaPorta, Hollywood, and Roschon that might be out of range, finally Swift and Kyren that are definitely out of range. Still waiting for his answer.

Keep shopping. I like Warren but he is an uncertainty and Pittsburgh already went back to Harris after he fumbled. Hold your 1st here.

Picked up D’Ernest Johnson on waivers for J. Kelley since posting this. That highlights how screwed I’d be if one of my three RBs went down… I’d be hoping for Pollard or Etienne to go down too and ride their handcuff. Trade cutoff is midnight of Monday next week. Might make a harder push for Swift, who I assume is worth a first+, right? After that Connor and DJ Moore are the best options to help this year, but I hear you that they aren’t worth a first straight up. How much would you pay up for Swift over a late R1 next year?

First of all, I am a Swift hater, so my judgement be clouded. He is in a perfect situation and he is only 16th in scoring despite a monster week one. I never trust guys who cant stay healthy until they reach their contract year. The 2024 free agent market is loaded with good running backs and I could easily see Philly going in a different direction and letting Swift sign somewhere else if his demands are too high and given his talent level and perceived value, I can see that happening.

All that being said, I am paying a mid 2nd for Swift, but I doubt that gets it done.
