Everyone told me to stop posting in here, that nobody cared, and this thread should go away. So I stopped posting on September 11th. I haven't posted in three days. Since the 11th there have been 16 posts—none of them mine.

So, what do you all want? You're keeping this alive. I'm happy to take my lumps, and to have an interesting conversation over the course of the year to see what the Bears do, but all I heard were complaints about this thread.

So, which is it?

It’s a couple dudes complaining. Most of us don’t care and a few seem to enjoy it. You can’t please everyone. You do you. You’re not hurting anyone.

Yeah, I thought people were just posting in good fun since the Bears loss. That was my intention. A good (and well deserved) ribbing. Your post was clearly a joke, I don't think it got missed by some people.

Okay, well, then I guess this thread lives.

For me, I think this week is really important to see if there is anything here or if this team is in fact still a disaster:

• Did Claypool loaf or is he actually going to be anything?
• Fields said he wasn't aggressive enough and needs to trust his WRs. Good. Do that.
• Definitely need to see more from DJM.
• RBs were actually pretty good overall, so I'm not too concerned here.
• OL was not good, so hopefully the start to gel, and we need Jenkins back.
• Can the play-calling and schemes improve? They need to.
• Can we get off of ZONE def? Isn't good for our CBs/LBs IMO.
• Gordon to IR sucks.

I think this week it can be a win, but who knows.

Claypool was a terrible trade at the time and it only looks worse and worse.

Maybe if he gets his head out of his a$$, he will be alright, but when the Steelers trade away a WR, its not a good sign.

I agree the RB should be fine and the OL was dreadful

I'm not sure what about this game excites you. TB defense is solid vs a bad bears offense. TB has two very good, highly experienced WRs against a pretty poor CHI defense. The only way the Bears win this is if Baker comes out and Bakers it.

I wasn't that big on him before the trade, and thought it was a bit of an overpay, but really thinking this may soon be a bust. I hope not. Hope he gets it figured out.

Any given Sunday I guess? I think TBB is good, but not elite. This was a game I had as a possible win, unlike games against KC and BUF. Baker is the key I think for sure.

Certainly a chance. I'm curious, after last week are the Bears favored in many games going forward? Curious what Vegas thinks.

Claypool is as talented as he wants to be. People don’t understand that his movement skills for his size are unmatched. Thought the trade was fine at the time. Although I’m an OG Mapletron truther. Idk what happened to him mentally. Sad.
