Borderline collusion ... Hard to think of a scenario where that trade makes sense unless team was super-stacked @ WR and had zero RBs

Hard to collude with a guy in a new league that you don’t know and haven’t even shared a DM with until this trade.

You’re exactly right, he’s a top team but had literally 0 playable RBs on his roster. For sure, I was surprised he accepted, but I’m basically the only guy in this league willing to trade away RBs.

All in right now, as this weekend marks our final regular season matchup, and I've got a 1st round bye on the line. I just made the following deal:

Lineup going into the playoffs looks as follows:

Sutton, Josh Palmer, Allgeier, Gus, and maybe Mattison all on the bench and could play a role moving forward. I've been super high on the '23 Class but I couldn't pass the Evans deals up, especially with the Sutton injury coming into play. I've got three picks in the 2nd round, so I still feel pretty good about picking about a potential impact player.

Oh for sure. I knew the clock was ticking so had been shopping him most of the season. There's no way I could have foreseen him falling off the cliff the week after I unloaded him tho. Super stoked to have gotten something done!

Feels about even to me. If you look up a few posts I moved Evans and Cpatt for a 2024 first from an aging contender (9-12 range) and some dregs. Pretty happy overall because Mike just no longer fit my team and that was the best I could get for him, but as an owner he is really tough to have some times. He has had 3 top 13 games this year, most of his games are WR30+ with 6 games under 13 points. I love the guy and hope he keeps up his 1k yard streak, but he isnt a weekly needle mover anymore like how he used to be. Especially considering Brady's decline in play and questions around who will be the TB QB after this year, it just feels like there are a lot of headwinds coming Evans' way and he has been slowing down already.
