All it is cut down day and I have been unable to find a trade to pick up another 2023 pick. So I need to cut one from the roster in my signature. I am in a weird spot as I am a contender this year but also have some decent 2023 draft capital and some young assets. I think I am down to the following 3 to cut:
Bryan Edwards, Laviska Shenault, Zach Ertz
Ertz is the oldest asset but given some uncertainty with Waller now with Adams and Goeddert on a run heavy team I was going to hold him given my championship window. I hate having 3 TEs.
Edwards tried to move him for a 3rd no takers. He should see some volume albeit on a bad offense.
Shenault was my cut until the Carolina trade. Depth chart is crowded but not super talented. QB play should be better than Atlanta.

I’m cutting Edwards of those three. I don’t see the volume for him. It will be all Pitts and London in my opinion. With Patterson getting a lot of the scraps. Not sure there is enough left to make Edwards viable in a bad offense like you suggest.
Shenault I have no problem cutting either if there is something on the waiver. Otherwise I’ll hold and see if he gets a different type of role.

Sounds about right. I dont think you kill yourself cutting either. Both have had chances. Drop Edwards and Shenault, pick up RB flier. McKinnon was strong in last years playoffs so I would expect him to get more work!
