where to go from here

Postby alex33 » Thu Dec 10, 2020 1:30 pm

so I am in a 8 team 2 point per reception tight end premium league (tight ends get 3 point per reception and everyone else gets 2 points per reception) once again I lost in the first round due to Gibson getting hurt and McLaurin having a dud in hind sight I should have started Aiyuk instead (sorry venting a little ) but yea I thought with my depth and how I built my lineup that this was my year, looking at my lineup where should I go from here? I am thinking of maybe trading Hopkins for Diggs but not sure. just looking for some advice. thank you in advance

Your WR are fine. I'd venture to say no1 can come close to comparing to your WRs. You got bit by the injury bug at RB this year, not much you can do about it.

Next year should be better with cmc and barkley back. If you just have to make a move, inquire about kittle or Andrew's. If you can get a discount it may be worth it to secure another top TE.

Personally, I love mclaurin and Aiyuk but can't figure out why you wouldn't be starting
Hopkins, Adams, Hill, AJB, DK, JJ, and Diontae over both of them in PPR. Maybe that's just me.

Also week 13 playoff games suck. Have your league change that. No1 enjoys playoffs games with players on Bye weeks.

Upgrade at TE. Go after Kittle. Other than that, you have nothing else to do. It is an 8 team league but you currently own:

QB #1
RBs # 1, 2 and EVERY young promising RB
WRs #1-6 are all on your roster
Only thing missing is a top TE.
Team 1: 12 team, PPR
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex

Mahomes, Lawrence
Najee, Swift, Javonte, Jamaal W, Murray
DK, DJM, Juju, Jameson, Gallup, Van
Pitts, Friermuth
1.01, 1.04, 1.11, 1.12, 3.10, 2 firsts next year

Team 2: 12 Team, SF TEP (1.5 PPR)
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex, 1 SF

Mahomes, Burrow, Cousins, Rudolph
CEH, Swift, Gibson, Jacobs, Mattison, Scott, McFarland
DK, AJB, Ridley, McLaurin, Kupp, Landry, Mims, Hamler, Miller, Johnson, Robinson
Andrews, H. Henry, Sternberger, Alie-Cox, Herndon

Same as Team 2
Watson, Burrow, Lance, Z. Wilson
Pollard, Mattison
Chase, D. Smith, Boyd, Hardman, E. Moore, Cephus, A. Rodgers, Harry, Boykin, A. Tate, Miller
Hockenson, Thomas, Albert O, Njoku
3 additional firsts

Same as Team 2
TLaw, Burrow, Watson, Darnold
CEH, Gus, Cohen
Juju, Chark, Shenault, Boyd, Landry, Renfrow, Robinson,
Engram, Kmet, Firkser, Schultz, Arnold, Herndon
5 additional firsts

Looks like a tough break this year, but you are in great shape overall. I would try to add one of the top TE's to solidify the position, but i think you just had a tough end to the season. I would not look to do a ton here.
