Curious if and how the offense changes with Tua. Not a college football fan, so it'll be a fun surprise - one way or the other - to watch unfold!

Going to change quite a bit. The best tackle will play RT. This will probably shift running plays quite a bit.

The Roll outs will be opposite. The biggest adjustment we won't see is everyone adjusting to catching a ball that spins the opposite direction. This is a huge change and not as easy as some may think.

They'll bring in Australian WRs. They're used to that spin.

I have him in a few leagues and Fantasypros consensus dynasty rankings have him at QB10. Do we think this is his team now and moving forward or is this benching a sign of things to come?

Overreaction. He should struggle for the rest of this year because his receiving corps has been decimated. Williams is out for the year and Ford was traded to the Pats.

Next year they will draft some talent and give him much better options.

I would say his value should be a little depressed given the injury history and the fact that Miami has not yet drafted a core around him. The coach is great there and their defense looks like it might be good for a long time after next year.

Ppl should not be panicking by any means, but we should be valuing him with other QBs that we don’t know if they’re good or not. So something like Baker on the high end and Minshew on the lower end. Tua will get the tie breakers due to age and hype factor of being a rookie. Any QB we know is good and isn’t super old I’d certainly value over tua. The previous poster seems to have tua over guys like wentz and Carr, I disagree with that given what we’ve seen so far.

Carr and Mariota also both started out as low volume efficient QBs, Carr has turned into a very solid qb and Mariota just never could get that aggressive killer instinct. I think tua will be fine but you never know for sure.

I actually agree with you though (Tua hasn't shown that he can play at the same level of the guys you mentioned). ^

We don't know what Tua is yet and that is why his value exceeds that of proven veterans. Was the question who is a better fantasy QB or higher dynasty stock? If it was the former, Ben and Brady would be on the board. Cousins, Carr, Wentz, etc are in the next tier on this list. Tua has not shown he is as good as these guys yet, but I would value his stock in this tier just based on upside and the abysmal situation he is currently in.

I like how after week 3, a Charger fan tried to sell me Tua for the low price of Hebert/2021 4th rounder. And tried to negotiate saying that Tua was a 2nd round rookie meanwhile I got Hebert in the 4th, so a 2021 4th was more than adequate compensation for him to downgrade.

LOL

The benching of Tua raised my eyebrows on Brian Flores handling of the QB situation more than Tua. I think Flores and company have done an awesome job on the rebuild and coaching of this team, but the handling of the QB position has been strange. They benched Fitz for Tua while winning and then inexplicably took Tua out this past week.

I didn’t think it was inexplicable, I thought they were trying to win the game and Tua had shown no ability to move the ball the entire game outside one drive. That was an important game for them and now they are basically out of the division race so I think you see Tua the rest of the way.

I think the same of his as I always have. He may be able to be a serviceable QB at some point, but I don't see the upside of elite. He seems to be a one read QB that has to have a system set specifically for him with limited reads and open receivers.
