Watson in SF. Huge asset and young productive QBs are so valuable in the format.

would be nice to know your roster... but your rebuild should be around qb's and wr's until you are ready to compete and add a rb to top it off.

SF has to be Watson. Deebo would be a good asset on top.

cmc is worth 3 #1's.....so I 'd say oprtion 2...Watson in a SF is worth 2 #1's, Debo is worth one, and Dillion is a 2nd..... so value is there....

Here is my roster below. I play in a 10 man super flex currently standard scoring but moving to 0.5 PPR. I have x4 2021 1st round picks where I plan to take Lawrence and have him and eventually Love planned as my QB1 & QB2. With that in mind would it still be best to take the Watson deal? I was tempted by the Godwin and Dobbins deal as I like Godwin and that would be my WR core set for a long time. I would be very weak going forwards at RB but I also like Dobbins and his landing spot. Really struggling to know what to do here!

QB - M Mariota, D Lock, K Allen, J Love, J Hurts, A Gordon
RB - C McCaffrey, T Pollard, D Freeman, J Samuels, A Gibson, J Kelley, D Evan, L Bowden, J Hasty, X Jones
WR - D Adams, DJ Moore, M Williams, M Valdes-Scantling, M Sanu, R Cobb, J Jefferson, D Duverney, J Pruce, C Johnson, I Hodgins, D Peoples-Jones, R Begelton
TE - G Kittle, I Thomas, K Rudolph, F Moreau, J Deguara

Thanks for your help

Watson trade is a better deal for you as you address 3 areas, Watson is a top qb and a qb1 ... deebo is a good wr3 with upside and dillion could take over next year in GB.

OK, I can see what you mean. Out of curiosity what would your preference be over the two other trades? Just so I know what you think is the 1st 2nd and 3rd best deal. Really appreciate your input - thanks

I say Watson deal and the Godwin, Dobbins one as my 2nd.

I am admittedly lower on Jacobs than consensus though. I would not want a non pass catching RB as a cornerstone in any kind of PPR league--hence why I prefer the Godwin, Jacobs, 1st package

What are the starting requirements in this league? This depends on that, but from what I'm seeing, your team does not look competitive. I probably would have blown that team up by now and done a full rebuild.

In a 10 team SF league, I'd hold CMC here unless you can get a little bit more on top of these deals.

The Watson one would be okay in a 12 team SF league, but not a 10 team.

The Godwin deal is next closest for me, but again, I'm holding CMC over that in a 10 team league. That first round pick is too far away.

The second deal is a distant last.

Based on how bad your team is, I'd probably sell CMC, Adams, and Kittle. Get as many 1st round picks/young players as you can. But I'd try and squeeze a little more out of these deals before selling an asset like CMC.

Good luck.

Its great to have a plan, but when you start to consider taking lesser deals for premium assets just so you can stick to your plan, its time to re-evaluate.

Deshaun Watson is a proven top 5ish NFL QB who is 24 years old.

Neither Lawrence nor Love is a sure thing. Lawrence regressed some from his freshman to his sophomore year. Remember when Tua was the sure thing second coming #1 pick? Lawrence will most likely still be an elite pick next year. He probably has a floor of a 6-8 year starter in the NFL, and a ceiling if 15 year stud. But nothing is guaranteed. Love , even if he hadn't been drafted into his current situation, was all over the place in terms of his projections into the NFL. He is a true boom or bust prospect. He could be Patrick Mahomes. He could be Deshone Kizer.

The smart play here is acquiring Watson. It insulates you from the risk of relying on two unproven players. If one or both of them bust, then you still have Watson. If they both hit, well then you have a really good problem.

I agree with FantasyFoosball in that I would try to get something more out of whichever deal you decide to take. Regardless of it being SF McCaffrey is still the best asset in all three of those trades. McCaffrey is a guy you make the other guy over pay for. You're not looking for a fair deal. Worst case scenario is you keep the #1 fantasy football asset on your roster.

I am ok with C or A. I really like Godwin though. But at the same time, your QBs are not good. All unproven..or in Mariotas case..proven to get benched. If you take c, you always have Watson to trade for more assets if you don't want him. His value will not go down. Godwin's could. I worry about the whole team not scoring as many fantasy points as last year because they won't have Winston turning the ball over 30 times and playing catch-up.
