Burrow not a Bengal?
Here come the rumours.

I'd be curious as to who the source is. Sounds like clickbait BS.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 6:48 pm Here come the rumours.

Could be. I'd give it no thought if this hadn't been a thing from day 1.Hottoddies wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 6:51 pmI'd be curious as to who the source is. Sounds like clickbait BS.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 6:48 pm Here come the rumours.

I guess it does lend a bit more drama to draft day.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 6:54 pmCould be. That doesn't sound like the Bengals, and with the Palmer's in his ear, I could see it being said to the Bengals in private. Whether they trade the pick, that's a different story.Hottoddies wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 7:03 pmI guess it does lend a bit more drama to draft day.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 6:54 pmCould be. Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
Miami allegedly loves him, at least the owner does, and obviously has the pieces to get it done if they really want to and Cincinnati is willing to cooperate.

Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
As a Chargers fan I would LOVE to see them somehow pull off a deal for him, and it would be a great situation for him to walk into (although ownership admittedly is only a little better than Cincy's), they really are only a QB away from contention.
Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
He isn't walking in better than Rivers.
Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
But recent history has shown us you can compete for SBs with the right 2nd or 3rd year QB, the Chargers have everything else in place, just need to improve the OL a little more and avoid the devastating injuries that have been plaguing them for years.

Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
Most of the QB needy teams are either bad teams or dysfunctional organizations or both except for maybe New England. And I don't think New England has the means or desire to buy that pick.

Probably need more than this guy saying it. Not seeing anyone reputable echoing it.
Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
It's been rumored all off-season though, with Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk really spear-heading it. I'm starting to think there's at least a little fire behind all this smoke we've been hearing about Burrow not wanting to go to Cincy.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 8:12 pm Probably need more than this guy saying it. Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
Yeah, but Burrow hasn't said publicly that he won't play for the Bengals and if the draft were today...that's where he's going and signing. Feels like a trade demand would be more public by nowbjd5211 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 8:16 pmIt's been rumored all off-season though, with Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk really spear-heading it. Re: Burrow not a Bengal?
Of course he's not going to say it publically, especially with this much time still to go before the draft.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 8:24 pmYeah, but Burrow hasn't said publicly that he won't play for the Bengals and if the draft were today...that's where he's going and signing.
