Where do you project Tyreek Hill to finish 2019?
Since the other Hill thread went down the drain and eventually go LOCKED... Where do y'all see Tyreek Hill finishing his 2019 campaign?
I was lucky/sage enough to acquire him for a 2020 3rd in my primary league. And I think he has a realistic shot to finish as a WR1 in 2019. Some might roll their eyes at that, but the reality is that the WR landscape is very competitive and there's a solid 24-30 guys who all could end up puttin' up a WR1 campaign in 2019. So it is not a foregone conclusion that Hill will be a WR1 even if he keeps his nose.
Let's discuss Tyreek Hill's 2019 outlook here, and please for the LOVE OF GOD, don't talk about off-field issues or OJ Simpson here!

I think its likely he lands in the 90-1500-10 world. I just think as Maholmes improves, and Tyreek improves and has a lot of haters to silence, they really ascend.

Feel free to discuss that in the off-topic forum if you feel the need.Cult of Dionysus wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 7:19 pm Let's discuss Tyreek Hill's 2019 outlook here, and please for the LOVE OF GOD, don't talk about off-field issues or OJ Simpson here!
But absolutely - more discussion on what Tyreeks value is to his team, to your squad, to dynasty in general, and less on whether he is innocent or not would be hopefully more conducive to a healthier Hill debate.

At this time, I see no reason not to project a top 5 finish at his position. If he plays 16 games, and so does Mahomes, then I'm guessing a top 10 finish is his floor. He has resumed being a super blue-chip.

Re: Where do you project Tyreek Hill to finish 2019?
End of the day (today, anyways) I still don’t know how many games he’s gonna play this year. That makes a yearly projection tough.
We do know that if everything shakes out, he can be overall WR1, easy. However I would not bet on that offense taking yet another step, it’s already pretty ridiculous, and if Mahomes and that offense simply repeat consistently it will be amazing, historically.
I personally expect a combo of Mahomes maturing/improving on some aspects, but defenses eventually finding chinks, resulting in a push. Also have to account, the offense can be just as powerful in real world football terms and the stats can regress.
So, to sum that up, I project Hill to have similar/slightly less points per game than last year.

As mentioned in the past - the key to a WR1 season is usually the target volume. As long as Tyreek Hill can get 130+ targets, if he is efficent enough with them, a WR1 season seems quite feasible. I actually quite agree with you that this year there are a large # of WRs who could be in the running - especially with the slow but steady increase in passing volume.Cult of Dionysus wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 7:19 pm I was lucky/sage enough to acquire him for a 2020 3rd in my primary league. Any other WR with just 130-140 targets, I'd likely say they are more likely going to be high WR2 low WR1, but even if Hill does not get more than 130 targets, his Y/R and potential TD totals could more than make up for sharing targets with Kelce & Watkins, and put him in the discussion for top 6.
It may seem weird, but I could even see a regression in TD totals from Mahomes, but still see an increase for Hill (ie 12-15 range).

This is just as likely as anything, imo. TDs are tough to project as it is.

Hill could threaten Moss.
Re: Where do you project Tyreek Hill to finish 2019?
I don’t think this deserves its own thread but it is related to Hill. If you don’t have him, I’d still try to buy ASAP if for nothing else than to gauge price.
I just bought for Jacobs + Hollywood. Sure, it’s more than I would have paid a week ago, but it’s still a good value now. Some owners may still be looking to offload. Just a suggestion.

Re: Where do you project Tyreek Hill to finish 2019?
That they are indeed. 18 of Mahomes 50 TDs went to players outside the normal consideration - ie Kelce, Hill, Hunt, Watkins - which was due in part (imho) due to Watkins & Hunt missing a combined 11 games (out of 32).
