Jon Moore has done a ton of research over at rotoviz on age adjusted production with his phenom index. It reveals that players that break out at a young age have a much higher probability of hitting at the nfl level. This is a great article as well:

Ridley could be fine, but his breakout age suggests that his ceiling is extremely capped.
