Can you elaborate on why this is " awesome" news for his owners? Because to me, this is a bad sign that he has been given up on by the team that drafted him already. Is Buffalo some elite passing offense?keebs3 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 6:22 pm For a pick..

I wanted him traded, but not a fan of the landing spot. Hopefully good for Callaway though.

Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
I’m very disappointed in the landing spot. I actually think this is worse for him than being in Cleveland.
Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
Mostly because it is almost guaranteed to increase his target count. And increased targets are huge for fantasy value. He has a immediate chance at a starting roll in Buffalo, while he was buried in Cleveland. Granted, targets don't always mean production, but a fresh start for a guy who has struggled his first two years is a good thing, IMO. I agree it would have been better to be moved to a team with a better QB situation, but I still think it's positive news for him.flyersfan1981 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 6:27 pmCan you elaborate on why this is " awesome" news for his owners? Its good becuase hes no longer buried on a depth chart or competing for targets. He goes from the sixth option to the third.. mccoy, benjamin, coleman.

Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
I've been off on Coleman from my rookie evaluation. Injuries definitely haven't helped, but he hasn't improved much as a player. The trade makes sense because Buffalo needs a deep threat to decoy for McCoy and Benjamin.
Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
I am drowning in my own tears right now. Anywhere but Buffalo would have been fine with me.
Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
Goes from bad QB team to the worst QB team. I don't see how this is good.
Regardless, his value was low and stays low. I'm only rostering him if he's free.

Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
You'd hear a lot of whispers that Coleman didn't like the cold weather in Cleveland. Good luck for those December games in Orchard Park, kid.

Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
He was basically drafted to be the top option in Cleveland and failed to capitalize on his opportunity. He wasn't "buried" in Cleveland...his lack of production forced the team to bury him.ImaRounder wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 6:39 pm Its good becuase hes no longer buried on a depth chart or competing for targets. Re: Corey Coleman traded to the Bills
I think it’s good news too. I look at it the same way, at least he will have more targets, that’s pretty much a guarantee because other than Benjamin, who has trouble staying healthy, they have so many unproven and uninspiring WRs. Zay Jones is being eased back in but if Coleman can get the playbook down, he should start, I would think. Personally, I’ve drafted him late in a couple of startups, like 16th round in 20 round drafts so I was hoping he would get traded or released. If he doesn’t make it with this chance, he probably won’t be in the NFL much longer anyway.keebs3 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 6:38 pmMostly because it is almost guaranteed to increase his target count.
