Jaylen Samuels

Postby gunzwil guinea pigs » Wed Apr 04, 2018 1:36 pm

Jaylen Samuels is 5'11 and about 228... all purpose back, listed and did the combine as a TE.

I think hes gonna be drafted maybe in the 4-5th round. Whats your take? Could he be fantasy relevant? I have no idea where he should line up actually, he seems way to small to be a TE. I could him see as an all purpose fullback f.e. 8-) I would love him on a team with a young HC or the seahawks

If he's listed as a TE but gets reps and carries as FB (especially near the goal line) he could have some sneaky value...

Curious what the concensus take on him is now that he's in Pittsburgh. On one side, if he's playing RB, hes behind bell. But at least Pittsburgh is the creative offense he could do well in and become much more involved. I suppose it all depends on what they do with Bell. He seems to be creeping up the rookie boards and he was selected in the late third in my rookie draft. I like his film. If bell is let go next year, I'm not sure Steelers even draft another rb if they have him and Conner and I think Samuels would have significant value if that were the case

I like his talent, and I will be drafting him late where I can.
