What’s the gap between Mixon and Barkley?

Looking to trade for the 1.01 and the owner said he’d want Mixon+. So trying to gauge how much more Barkley is worth compared to Mixon.

Side note: he also has Jimmy Garoppolo who I’d like to acquire too bc I’m a niners fan, but also I want another QB in case something actually is wrong with Andrew Luck.

I’m in the same boat with Luck. I also own Mixon and I would add a first around 1.3-1.4 to get Barkley. Mixon has shown a little talent but overall hasn’t impressed me. (That bengals line was awful though) As for the Garoppolo thing, I’d pay an early second, or maybe and just maybe a late late first for him. Not because i don’t believe in Garoppolo, Mostly because of Mariota, he showed he can play but had a down year. I believe he will get back on track.

I'd be willing to give up Mixon+Hilton. Luck's injury is a real concern, and Hilton is a shell of himself without Luck throwing to him. Hilton won't be worth a late 1st if Luck doesn't return to form, which I doubt he will.

I personally wouldn't go after the 1.01 if you're moving Mixon. Whatever you have to add to the Mixon to get the deal done will be a huge overpay. You also don't need the 1.01, so no point in overpaying for it, regardless of which players/picks you give up. You already have Mariota in case Luck isn't ready, so I wouldn't worry too much about QB either, but if you want to go after Jimmy G alone, it shouldn't cost you that much.

While the 1.01 is OBVIOUSLY a more valuable asset than Mixon right now, I think there's a very good chance that the difference between Saquon & Mixon will be a late First or a random 2nd (at most) this time next year. Mixon is that good.

So my point is, don't make this trade. It won't be worth it. The 1.01 owner almost certainly won't sell for less than Mixon and a top 3-4 pick.

As much as possible, never buy at retail while selling at wholesale.

deff do not listen to this advice. its a 1qb league u have no need for jimmy g its just a prisoner of the moment want. it would essentially be mike evans and mixon for barkley and a future pick ? not close to worth it for a guy who doesnt even play for an nfl team at the moment.

Probably gonna take no less than Crowder and 1.11 to get it done. That isn't a huge overpay if you think your roster can absorb it and you're sold on Barkley. Mixon doesn't have the same upside potential and guaranteed 300+ touches a year.
