Re: Robby Anderson
Haven't thought about startups much, but I'd say Anderson is worth an early 2nd at this point.

Re: Robby Anderson
He's young and has to be worth at least a 2nd by now and no foreseeable replacement for him in the future on that team. I mean he's matching Davante Adams so far and stats are way up on Diggs. Lack of receptions to get to his totals won't help in PPR (i.e. same stats as Landry but 34 fewer receptions so far).

Re: Robby Anderson
Some wildcards in this mix/Robby's future are:
- Does Enunwa come back healthy? Do the Jets still value him?
- Are Hansen and Stewart going to get meaningful PT in Year 2? So far, Hansen appears to be getting most of the 3WR reps.
- Do they draft anyone? Probably the blandest/overstated of the options but has to be considered.
He's had a solid year this year but this may be one of those guys I try to move if the pick is worth it. Early to Mid 2nd? Sure, Late 2nd? Maybe better off holding from the experienced production standpoint.

Re: Robby Anderson
He made a fabulous catch against Carolina in the back of the end zone. More than just a speed guy. Even as a Jets fan I was writing him off for a while, but now believe he is a legit WR2/3. WR2 for this season, might drop to WR3 next year when there is more competition for targets...

Re: Robby Anderson
Been starting him since week 8 in redraft. Sold him and Kupp for Cousins 2 or 3 weeks ago in dynasty. Hated to part with him, but he wasn't going to start for me and my QB situation was driving me mad.

Re: Robby Anderson
I've been a Robby Truther since year one. He had a couple of flashes at the end of the season. Fun Fact: I drafted the guy in the 26th round of our startup between Ishmael Zamora and Torrey Smith. Right now it would take at least a mid 2 to get him away from me. I can see him staying a late WR2 early WR3 area. This is of course the Jets can find, get, and keep a decent QB...
Re: Robby Anderson
Wow people are relatively low on Robby. He's a stud in the making, if he bulks up a bit and improves his footwork he could take the next step in the next few years.
Enunwa, Hansen, Stewart? He's better than all of them. Choo-choo, I'm buying all day at mid-2nd!

Re: Robby Anderson
Anderson has speed, length, and a nose for the ball. He still needs to bulk up, and UDFAs always seem to have an uphill battle keeping a role in the NFL even after producing. Still, I would feel pretty good about taking this guy as a WR3 in a startup right now.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I think he has what it takes. If Ochocinco and Brandon Marshall endorse him, I'm in

Re: Robby Anderson
I do not see anything special when I watch him play. Reminds me of Terrelle Pryor last year. Do not buy based on situation over talent.
Would not bother acquiring at his current price. Grossly overachieving.

Re: Robby Anderson
I am not sure what Phaded is not seeing in Robby Anderson, but his talent was evident to me after last year's preseason, where he led the league in receiving yards. The guy has impressive athleticism, fast, small but solid hands, and routinely creates seperation. The only thing that held Anderson back last year was Fitzpatrick, who was terrible at throwing deep.
Anderson has put together plenty of tape to be a part of any teams WR core. Even if the Jets added a good WR like a Jarvis or Alshon, I think that would only help Robby Anderson. He doesn't produce with volume, he produces with talent and down the field receptions.
Enunwa impressed last year, but I don't think he is a starting NFL WR, best as operating as a big slot. He doesn't create seperation and hands are not good enough to be a top WR. Two years ago, he produced on volume, not talent.
Currently, he should be between WR25 and WR30 in ranking. If he continues to impress, that could increase.

Re: Robby Anderson
He's a deep threat receiver who is being overused due to lack of alternative options. He could develop and round himself into an all-around receiver, but there will be many bumps along the way and he'll need a team that's committed to him, which will be a challenge.

Re: Robby Anderson
I own him in one league, and judging by this thread, I guess I'll just be holding him since he's not worth anything even though he's producing. Why do I always always always end up with guys like that.

Re: Robby Anderson
But if you own him and he is producing why does it matter what his value is? At the end of the day production is the only thing that matters and if no one else in a league will give you anything for him then you keep him and keep plugging him into your starting lineup.bigchiefbc wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 7:29 am I own him in one league, and judging by this thread, I guess I'll just be holding him since he's not worth anything even though he's producing. Re: Robby Anderson
Is a late 1st enough? I agree mid 2nd i'snt enough. I have an offer on the table to move him for a late 1st. Contending team selling to another contending team.
