Is Perriman too much for K Dixon?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is Perriman too much for K Dixon?

Postby RedBengal » Tue Sep 06, 2016 7:07 pm

DLF rankings have Perriman 77th and Dixon not even in the top 100. I offered a guy Perriman and at first thought it wasn't enough, then I saw that.

Thoughts?

I don't either. Perriman was overrated coming out and still hasn't played. Tho you should be able to get something else tacked on to Dixon due to the perceived value difference.

I think it's fair. Both guys have issues and haven't shown anything, and both were drafted in similar spots in their respective rookie drafts

I felt like I should be able to get more, but in my league, where RBs are practically worshiped, I'm expecting this to be a snap rejection and for them to ask for Keenan Allen or Sammy Watkins straight up for the guy.

ADP be damned. I'd take Dixon over Perriman easily.

Think that's a fair deal for all the reasons above. Perceptions vary quite a bit on both players so personal belief is going to be a big factor.

I'd agree that offer is pretty fair. Perception on two is variable. Prior to his most recent injury, I was pretty high on Perriman-not as much now with his "string" of injuries. At this time I'd take Dixon

Dixon looked good till he hurt his knee.

Forsett is not going to be around maybe as early as mid season (cut so he can be waived later) and the rest are meh

Perriman has shown the ability to get hurt and stay hurt so far. Perhaps be really is a 50 year old homeless dude.

I'd rather have Dixon

In terms of straight value i'd say it's pretty fair, but I wouldn't blame someone for wanting Perriman over Dixon.

Baltimore's backfield is a complete mess. Cutting Forsett, resigning him two days later; West being deemed as the starter, now it's Forsett? How will Buck Allen be used? Will he catch a ton of passes or end up nearly irrelevant? Will Dixon compete for carries when he comes back or will he be relegated as the #4 RB option? There are just too many question marks with Baltimore's backfield for me to want to take Dixon over Perriman at this point.

Perriman at least has the best shot of becoming the Ravens #1 WR option sooner than later, with Dixon we just don't know what will happen with the mess at RB.

They are about even and it'll come down to personal preference. I'm not really high on either but I like Perriman's athletic profile more
