Re: Ridiculous trade offers
This one isn't necessarily the original offer being absolutely horrible, it's the view of the other owner that makes it ridiculous. 16 team PPR dynasty. Offer was: I give: Spiller, T Smith I get: MJD, Mendenhall, LaFell & Hawkins. Then the guy revokes it and sends me an e-mail apologising, but s...

Re: 16 team dynasty startup advice
My plan would be RB-QB-RB-WR-WR to start. The only temptation would be if Calvin falls to 1.06, but RBs are going to be pretty scarce. Sticking to this plan the draft has so far gone: 1.06 - McCoy 2.14 - RG3 I'm up at 3.03 and best RBs are McFadden, Bush, Ridley and CJ2K. Best WRs are Nicks, Wallac...

Re: Roddy Whites Value
Roddy, by a mile. He produces 1200yds and 6-8TDs in his sleep, and he's only 31. He's still got 2-3 years of elite production left in my mind, so don't go trading him for peanuts. Wait until mid-season when a playoff team is a WR short of a championship team and you'll get far better value than trad...

Re: 16 team dynasty startup advice
Draft so far has gone: 1.01 - Martin 1.02 - Calvin Johnson 1.03 - TRich 1.04 - Spiller If McCoy is there at 6 then I will take him as he's my 3rd ranked dynasty RB, if not then I will probably try and move back a few spots as I like Charles/Rice/Foster/Peterson about the same, as well as Green/Julio...

Re: 16 team dynasty startup advice
Thanks for the tips.
I originally had the 1.03 but traded back to 1.06 in return for swapping my 9th rounder for his 6th rounder, so I have two 6th rounders. I'll see how QB is looking at 2.14/3.03 and make a decision there as to whether I start the run on QBs myself.

16 team dynasty startup advice
16 team, PPR, standard scoring. Start 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/1Flex (RB/WR/TE) then team D and K.
In a league where you only have to start 2WRs and can start 3RBs, does that mean I should definitely go RB at 1.06 or are the Calvin/AJG/Julio/Dez tier of WRs still worth the investment?
Thanks!

What moves to make?
Just inherited a dynasty team in a contract league. 16 team, IDP and PPR league where scoring is very balanced (Watt was 8th highest last year.) I'm new to contract leagues and dynasty rebuilds so I'm trying to get some advice on where to start. QB : Luck (4), Bradford (3), G Smith (TS, 5) - Start 1...

Re: Ridiculous trade offers
In my contract league I've been trying to get Jeremy Kerley, who has 0yrs on his contract and will be dropped by his owner. We get a FT and TT every year, and I currently don't have anyone worth franchising but I like Kerley's potential as a WR3 and he'll be cheap to acquire, or at least so I though...

Re: Randle, Broyles, Quick, Jenkins or Wheaton?
I'd take Randle this year. 3rd WR in a productive passing game, behind an oft-injured WR1. Long term Randle would also be an option, but if Broyles can come back from his injury then he could be excellent as well. I also like Quick, if he lives up to the potential on which he was drafted he has VJax...
