What is KBs value

I was offered a 2016 1st for KB today by a team that was 4th last year. What is the current going rate for KB? Is he worth a potential late round 2016 1st? What if I was to get a protected pick (i.e. it has to be a 1.06 or better, otherwise I also get his 2016 2nd?) Or make a trade with some of his guys.

Some players on his team that are interesting:

QB: Brady
RB: CJ Anderson, Charles
WR: Edelman, Maclin, Watkins
TE: Bennet, Ebron, Witten

My team in Sig.

Any thoughts?

In a PPR i think that is a little light for KB but I am also a lot higher on him than most. He's a 6'5 WR that put up great numbers a year ago with a ton of drops. If he can reduce the drops + another year of chemistry with Cam I see last year as his floor (which is pretty darn good. Wasnt he drafter around 1.6-1.8 last year? I think he has only proven well worth that draft position so I would say a 2016 2nd istn close.

Benjamin is worth 2 firsts, easily. As a rookie he put up 1,000+ yards and his TD numbers should continue to increase with his size.

KB is not worth two firsts to me. That's putting a lot of stock into a very inefficient year (catching just over 50% of 15+ targets). I don't see his stats ever improving in a substantial way. They just drafted a clone who is much younger and faster than he is, so I think at best he's a red zone threat for an inaccurate QB. I think a single 2016 firsts is too light, but trying to get 2 firsts is pushing it. I'd be happy if I could score Watkins straight up if I could, if not then CJA +.

I agree with this.. I am not so high on benjamin outside his size at 6'5 his hands are like rocks for a WR

I agree with the talent assessment. If I owned him, I would be looking to move him. I would want a lot because there is someone in your league who thinks he is a significant dynasty asset.

I'm in the middle of the two above. I had KB and I traded him. In a half point PPR I got Teddy, E. Sanders (6th highest WR last year. I know his time is coming) and 1.08 (Same spot I drafted him the year prior). So put that into consideration giving that's an actual accepted trade.

I don't think 2 2016 firsts is outrageous. But I definitely don't think 1 2016 is even close.

He's worth around the 1.5-1.6 range IMO... I don't really like him (only have him on one team) but people talk about all the drops, what about the inaccuracy of Newton? I think he's a top 20 WR for the foreseeable future... Actually with all the negativity surrounding him, I should go out and buy some more KB shares

Thank christ for finally someone mentioning the inaccuracies of Newton.

to even get me talking, anderson, charles or watkins would have to be in the conversation. there is no reason to think that benjamin will finish outside the top 20wr for the next few years. im not moving that production for scraps or future picks at this point. i would guess that he has a top 10 year or two in him to be honest. i dont believe that benjamin will ever make the "must own" list, but he's going to be a nice guy to own for awhile imo.

See if you can get that 2016 1st plus the 2016 2nd also, your team looks pretty deep at WR right now, take advantage and stretch out your success in the next few years by getting those picks. I would pay more for Davante Adams than I would KB.

Anything you get more than the 2016 1st and 2nd I saw you get good value for KB

in my mind the 2016 draft class isn't going to be nearly as valuable pick wise as this draft class. So don't think you could possibly score a Gordon or a white at 1.05 or 1.06. He has potential to be a beast, remember he has inaccurate newton throwing to him and he does routinely make impossible catches look easy and easy catches look hard at times. I think its easier to fix the latter than to teach the first. Id sit on him because i think his value doesn't go anywhere but up in between this off season and next unless you can get a young rb prospect and a first.
