Would Smelter be a wiser pick?

Hes a nice pick after 30 if you have a TE need and have an available roster spot.

Got him at 42 and just going to stow him and hope that he develops as Miller's heir

Smelter all day. Chance to be WR2 on his own team soon.

Isn't smelter going to miss a big chunk of the season?

Smelter by far. He would have been a second round pick in the NFL draft if he hadn't torn his ACL. He has 11" hands. absurd. Biggest hands in the last 10 years of the combine for WRs. He also seems to be highly football intelligent. I drafted him in my league and can't wait to see what he does once hes back to full health.

Yes, but we are talking dynasty, not 'what value is this rookie worth the first half of his rookie season'. He's got the size, ability, and opportunity on the depth chart to make an impact as soon as next season. Was a happy buyer in my rookie draft based on what I saw on tape.

He wasnt even selected in one of my rookie drafts. So waiting during FA for everyone to go after kroft pruitt and then jump on him in FA
