USFL Superflex - FILLED

The Houston franchise has become available in my USFL Superflex. This is multi-tiered salary cap, with small, medium and large market teams competing on an un-even playing field. We are heading into the 2nd season, and had one of twelve guys not report back. The fee for 2015 is $50. The franchise has a rolling deposit (meaning you are effectively paying the deposit for 2016).

Almost everyone in the league is a DLFer (10 members currently).

As soon as the franchise is taken and paid, we will begin the 2015 season (franchise tagging, followed by the Free Agent auction in early April, followed by the rookie draft in early June).

very tempting but that previous owner did a number on that team with bad contracts. if another team opens that isnt horribly broken id be down. nice league tho

Most orphans aren't the cream of the crop. Though given the league dynamics, don't think that Houston is in that bad of shape. Couple of bad contracts, sure. But a bunch of franchises have some albatrosses...

Anyway, a really solid crew of guys here. Responsive, reasonable.

Don't let knotts scare you off. I'm in this league, and it's a good one. One of the few leagues I'm in that I don't commish, and I'll say that Dionys is a better commissioner than I am.

Here's the available team's full roster and available picks (1.04-5.04, + 3.01/4.01). You'll notice some bad contracts, but you'll notice those on every team (Crabtree and Harvin for me). Cam, Gronk, and Davante Adams are all on reasonable-to-bargain deals, and the team has $10+ million in cap space for 2015. This team was 6/12 in total points last year.
