Team Advise

Postby broncohead » Mon Jan 26, 2015 1:13 am

We haven't decided on how many we get to keep but it's 12 right now and might increase. .5 ppt 6 pt for a passing/rushing/receiving TD 1 pt for 10 yard rushing/15 yard receiving/25 yard passing

QB: Matt Ryan, Dalton
RB: Hill, Doug Martin, Ryan Matthews, Jerick McKinnon, Christine Michael, Lamar Miller, Brandon Oliver, Ray Rice, Khiry Robinson
WR: Davante Adams, Michael Crabtree, Allen Hurns, Jeff Janis, Alson Jeffrey, Allen Robinson, Kenny Stills, Demaryius Thomas, Marquess Wilson
TE: Zach Ertz, Ladarius Green

Draft picks include the 11th pick in each round and no 4 round draft pick due to trade for Doug Martin.

What would you do with this team? I have offered the Gio owner a 1st through text and he is interested the only problem I would run into is keeper cutdown. I know the 1.11 is good value for Gio especially for a handcuff. Also I made it to the finals because I had a major upset to the team who was supposed to win in the playoffs. Any suggestions would be great thank you!
48 team, 4 copy league, QB, RB, WR, WR, TE, SF, 4 flex
QB - Wentz, Tannehill, Mayfield, Jones, Alex Smith
RB - Chubb, Hunt, Swift, Akers, Henderson, Mostert, Mack, Bowden, Hill
WR - AJ Brown, DJ Moore, Gabriel Davis, Slayton, Hamler, Isabella
TE - Fant, Burton, Firkser, Keene, Okuegbunam
2021 Draft - 1.09, 3rd

I think you need to ask a more specific question. I've read this a few times as I like to answer posts that have 0 responses, but I still don't know what your question is other than what should I do with my team, which is really open ended.

QB: Matt Ryan, Dalton
RB: Hill, Doug Martin, Ryan Matthews, Jerick McKinnon, Christine Michael, Lamar Miller, Brandon Oliver, Ray Rice, Khiry Robinson
WR: Davante Adams, Michael Crabtree, Allen Hurns, Jeff Janis, Alson Jeffrey, Allen Robinson, Kenny Stills, Demaryius Thomas, Marquess Wilson
TE: Zach Ertz, Ladarius Green

Ryan is a decent QB
Hill will be one starter and you're likely to get at least one other guy who steps up.
You are good at WR - Alshon and DT will be great. And I think A. Rob will step up next year.
TE is a weak point for you.

I would maybe see if you can turn one of the other WRs (Adams, Crabtree, Stills) into a better TE (probably can't get JT, Graham, or Gronk, but Olsen or Kelce could be good).
Then use the draft picks you have to build some depth.
Huskies:
QB - Matt Ryan
RB - DeMarco Murray, Jeremy Hill, Andre Ellington, Daniel Herron, Montee Ball
WR - Antonion Brown, TY Hilton, Jeremy Maclin, Kelvin Benjamin, Allen Robinson, Davante Adams, Percy Harvin, Martavis Bryant, Michael Crabtree
TE - Travis Kelce
K - Connor Barth
LB - James Laurinaitis, Mychal Kendricks
DB - Donte Whitner, Kam Chancellor

Start QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, LB, LB, DB, DB
10 team
No fractional points. 1 pt per 50 passing, 20 rushing, 20 receiving, and Tackle/Asst. Tackle; 6 pt passing TD, -1 INT

Thanks Stan. I know I'm weak at TE. I'm hoping Ertz steps up in 3rd year and will look to improve to position in off season. Will Gio for my 1.11 be a good move?

If you can get Gio for the 1.11, I'd absolutely take that deal. He would definitely be a keeper on that team.

My only hesitation would be that you'll drive yourself crazy deciding between Hill and Gio each week. I think we are looking at a 2 headed monster there.
Huskies:

This wouldn't concern me personally. I'd play them both, and sprinkle in Miller when his matchup is better. Plus, with as much as Cincy runs the ball, they'll both get enough touches, in my opinion.

Hill would be the weekly starter as he has shown he is better at running the ball, will prob get most of the touches, and will most likely get most of the goal line work. Gio would be my handcuff. I'm trying to move Mckinnon, Oliver, and Khiry as well for him;

Gio owner offered Gio for Lamar Miller. Do I do it?
