Who is your offseason #1 sell?
Who is your offseason #1 sell?
To me right now it's Julius Thomas. He has become very TD dependent over the back half of the season and Manning is really slowing down or might not even be back which concerns e as well.
I think now is the time to sell Thomas and hopefully your buyer chalks up his poor performances lately to injuries.

Demarco Murray. Cowboys are running him into the ground, and I doubt they resign him. He's a very talented runner, but he's been running behind the best line in the NFL. Sell him for a ransom now, if you can.

Bell for me.. only have him in one league and if I can get one of the big WRs for him I'm selling.
Not because I don't think he will be a RB1 but because RBs value change every year. Mccoy/Dougie/Gio/Trich.. etc

Re: Who is your offseason #1 sell?
Ya he was my next choice. Dude stayed pretty healthy which is unlike him, and we all know what happens to RB's when they get way too many carries. I still expect a top 5 finish next year "if" healthy, but for him to fall off the cliff after that.auggiedoggies wrote:Demarco Murray. I agree with you that Julius Thomas is a sell this offseason. He may leave and really without Peyton I think he is an average TE.

Mine HAS to be Calvin... I think the steady, though not necessarily quick, decline has begun.

If you can get 1st round startup value Id sell OBJ. Guy has major maturity issues and I would proceed with Josh Gordon type caution.

I don't actually own him, but I agree. I don't think Josh Gordon caution, since he's not at two strikes, but with caution.Jimmy Jones wrote:If you can get 1st round startup value Id sell OBJ. Guy has major maturity issues and I would proceed with Josh Gordon type caution.

Re: Who is your offseason #1 sell?
Yea you're right, as far as I know he doesn't have any past suspensions or anything but he's kind of like Gordon in that the value is so great that if you can get equal value, it's safe to sell. I think Evans is safer, we saw the video of him get in the fight at the club but I still think his head is on tighter than Beckham. Beckham acts like a psycho and I'm not sure he's going to handle the sudden influx of money and fame like an adult. I guess we'll see.JoshGordonsDealer wrote:I don't actually own him, but I agree. Matt Forte. I think the consensus is that demarco will decline. Because of that, I'll become a buyer on him, not a seller.
Re: Who is your offseason #1 sell?
Julius Thomas may actually benefit from leaving Denver. He could be a focal point on an offense with a QB who didn't just have his right arm stitched back on.
If you don't think Julius Thomas is extremely talented, you haven't watched him play. Velcro hands, crisp routes, great speed for his size. He just isn't a focal point in the offense. So many mouths to feed and now Peyton can't throw a football

Re: Who is your offseason #1 sell?
I think anyone on the Denver offense not named Demaryius should be a sell. I just can't see CJ Anderson, Ball, Sanders, Welker putting up the same numbers without Manning. Sure they might produce but I think the value is there right now to take it.DJB wrote:To me right now it's Julius Thomas. Calvin Johnson. The greatest WR of this generation, but this will be the last chance to get anything close to 1st round startup value out of him.

Re: Who is your offseason #1 sell?
Demarco Murray is my #1 sell. Shady is up there on the list for me as well. Calvin is probably #2 since the Lions leaked that info a few weeks ago that said he won't be with the Lions after next season coupled with his age and recent injury history. Julius Thomas is another one. I think Jeremy Maclin is probably #3 on the sell list for me
