This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Talent wise I like Floyd but who knows what happens post-Palmer. At least with Allen you know Rivers will be around awhile. That said, probably would still take Floyd

If you were offered Floyd for Allen it stands to reason that your potential trade partner is higher on Allen than Floyd. If this is the case you should ask for more and see if he accepts.

Given that there is no consensus on who is the better asset; any additional compensation you can receive for Allen would tilt the deal in your favor.

Ask for Floyd + 2015 2nd

I offered Keenan Allen and Stevie Johnson for Floyd and Jordan Matthews. He rejected with no counter. I just asked him for a counter. I'll see where else he upgrades me.

That's not remotely close IMO and i probably wouldn't have countered either. Matthews >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Stevie.

Worth a shot. Just gauging interest. I'm getting lots of interest in Keenan today so I was trying to use that as leverage.

No not worth a shot. Have to be careful, as you may do more damage with that kind of offer. You basically took an even trade, possibly already uneven in his mind, and then offended by pretending Stevie Johnson and Jordan Matthews were even slightly close.

Or put another way, you asked for Floyd and a 1.06 for Allen. I'm guessing he never replies.
